Hela is about to throttle Skurge before they hear a noise, a loud gong sound. It's coming from far away but the deep note resonates across the land. Hela looks to the palace, her eyes narrowing in rage.

She enters the palace to find Thor on the throne holding Gungnir, Odin's signature spear. Slamming it on the ground. Thor stops the finding when he sees Hela.

"Sister."

Smiling, Hela gradually crosses the huge space towards Thor.

"You're still alive."

Meanwhile, Heimdall leads the refugees out onto the bridge with Astrid at the back of the crowd to be on lookout. He then stops, sensing something. At the far end of the bridge is Fenris. The massive war wolf is guarding the bifrost.

"Go back!"

Astrid can see what's up ahead and starts to run the other way with the refugees. But as they retreat, they come to a stop. They see that Skurge is leading an undead army of berserkers behind him blocking their path. They are now trapped.

"Heimdall! The sword!" Skurge calls to the guardian of the Bifrost. It was their one and only chance he was giving them.

"Skurge." Astrid pleads him. "Please, don't do this!"

It was Heimdalls only warning to give up the sword. But he still refused causing Skurge to send the berserkers to fight them. Astrid had no choice but to fight back. She grabs her daggers and fights along side the refugees taking the enemy down one by one. Skurge didn't know she could be that good at combat, but that didn't stop him from joining the fight.

Astrid and the others hear a massive roar. They turn to see that the Hulk has joined the battle giving them an advantage. While Astrid had been distracted, one of the berserkers had gone to stab her, she managed to dodge but it still managed to slice her arm. She let out a small whimper. As she looked to her cut she became ten times more pissed than she already was.

"You shouldn't have done that." She grabs the head of the enemy and flips over him pulling him backwards to the ground before she turns to slice his head off. She gets up and sees a firework display up ahead. Finally, Valkyrie has joined the fight.

Heimdall continues to fight off the army, but gets knocked down. Just as it looks like he's about to take a killing blow, the berserker is blasted. Korg steps in front of him, holding the blaster.

"Hey man. I'm Korg. This is Miek. We're going to jump on that spaceship and get out of here. Want to come?" Heimdall is beyond confused, but then sees emerging from the thick fog, is Loki.

"Your savior is here!"

Astrid hears Loki from the other side of the ship and while still fending off the undead, she runs towards him.

Loki and the others jump off the Ark and onto the bridge joining the fight against Hela's forces.

"Did you miss me? Everybody on that ship, now!" Loki tells the Asgardian refugees to board and they begin pouring onto the ark. Thousands of frightened people all push for a chance at salvation... It's mayhem. Loki manages to walk through the panicked crowd to Heimdall.

"Welcome home. I saw you coming."

"Of course you did..."

Emerging from the crowd, Loki sees Astrid running at him. He sees that she's battered and cut up from the fight, but she is safe and that's all that matters. He lets out a sigh of relief as he holds his arms open to catch her.

"Thank Odin you're safe." He puts her down and holds her face in his hands. "Do you have any idea how much you made me worry? You're so reckless!"

"I learn from the best." After everything they've been through, she was pleased to be back in his arms. Loki chuckles at her planting a kiss. They then turn their attention back to the berserkers prepared to fight.

Suddenly, a huge bolt of lightning strikes the palace as they see Hela getting flung down on to the streets of Asgard as Thor joins them on the battlefield. Loki quickly looks around again for Astrid and when he spots her he quickly runs over and grabs her.

"Listen, I need you to get on that ship for me."

"Wha- No! I'm not leaving again, I can do this!"

"I'm not doubting you my Princess. But I need you to protect the people of Asgard." He knows if he told her he was worried because Hela was coming, she would get angry at him again. She seems to think that everyone else thinks she's not capable. But in all honesty, he knows she's more than capable. He just wanted to protect her and their child. She looks to the ship to see that it starts flooding with Helas army.

"Okay, fine." She sees Thor and Hela battling it out in the distance before giving Loki one last kiss. "Please be careful." She then runs to the ship slashing down anyone who stands in her way. Loki watches her proudly. He's proud of the woman she has become.
