"She seems nice and did I heard you giggle earlier. GIGGLE. Bai, oh no I think your catching feelings."
I slapped his arm, maybe a bit too hard but to be honest he did deserve it. "You know it's not like that" (oh but it is, it really is like that, it 100% is like that), "And I didn't giggle, who giggles, it was probably more like a haha than a hehe."
Jaden came dragging her bag behind as she genuinely flopped over my legs laying her head on Tate's lap. "Why'd I have to work and now school! I'm gonna cryyy."
"I did offer to help, you know my dad has money and B said she'd work with you whilst she was sat at the Cafe doing nothing. You just refuse to accept our help and want to be independent." Tate pulled a strand of hair behind her ear staring into her eyes.
I shoved her legs off my lap and stood up, holding out my hand to pull her up, "come on, let's go get an energy drink and fix you up before the lesson. The teachers are gonna think you've never been to sleep, EVER. But to be honest with the amount of homework they give us they shouldn't be surprised. " Jaden grabbed my hand heaving herself off the ground, as I pulled her in the direction of the toilets.
I stood there drink in hand admiring the way she did her hair, I mean it was the same every time, but it always turned out perfected. Jaden would pull her hair into a ponytail, messing the front up slightly so she could some strands out. Her hair was a dark brunette and silky, falling perfectly every time she did it. It was dead straight which of course she hated but in comparison to my frizzy, straight mess it was amazing, (my hair can never pick a side its either frizzy straight or just frizzy). "Perfect!" I handed her the drink and she started sipping before we had even left the bathroom, it looked like she really needed it. She let out a little skip as she left the bathroom, looking and acting slightly more energised.
As we made our back to the tree, which Tate was now leant against his textbook covering his face, he looked as though he was asleep. Of course, this meant that we had to wake him up in the most annoying way possible, I mean otherwise, you might as well call us bad friends. Jaden pulls out her phone going straight on to Spotify (one thing to know about Tate is that he could fall asleep literally anywhere, anytime, he LOVED his sleep). She turned the volume up to the highest making sure it was already connected to the speaker that sat in front of Tate and pressed play.
He jolted up, the book falling onto his side, as I ran up to him screaming "SHES A VERY A KINKKKYY GURRLLL" Jaden running after me "THE KIND YOU DON'T TAKE HOME TO MOTHERR." We let out a little laugh as we turned to face each other and went "SHE WILL NEVER LET YOUR SPIRITS DOWNN" turning to face Tate who had a look of disappointment on his face before just saying in the plainest voice ever "once you get her off the street."
To say he was pissed we woke him up would be an understatement. But I mean he did say I "giggled" earlier which was NOT true.
A/N Who knows what this was
