“Apology accepted. You were a jerk.” Claire said then nudged my arm.

“Fine. You’re forgiven.” I said. 

Steve went besides me and started making moaning and kissing noises. I nudged him.

"If you're not nice to Jim. I will personally kill you." I whispered to him. He rolled his eyes a bit but nodded. I knew it was a lie though. Toby came over.

"Hey, Steve! Did you hear about the Neanderthal exhibit? Topless." Toby half whispered to Steve.

"Nice. Cave ladies." He said then walked off. Toby went off but said something to someone. I looked at Claire but she was gone.

"I swear to God Claire if you-" My sentence was cut off.

“Something wrong Kiki?”” Jim asked me.

I started to blush for a bit then pressed it back down.

“Nothings wrong.” I answered.

“I wish our play had these costumes.”

“I know, right? With our school budget, I’ll end up doing the balcony scene in my bathrobe.”

“Well, if anyone could pull it off, it’d be you.”

"You're just saying that cause you're my friend."

"Other than Claire. You're the only one on stage who looks like they know what they're doing."

"Aww. Thanks. I'm flattered." He pushed me playfully. I just laughed. 

"Do you remember when we first met?"

"Of course I do. Sure I was beat up but it was still nice."

"Why were you beat up? You could have taken Steve."

"Jim, I had to hide my strength. So I acted weak…and it was kinda nice having you take care of me every time." I could feel the blush on my cheeks.

Jim POV

I could see Kiki blushing up a storm, could she really like me more than a friend? But that was impossible, I mean my crush is her sister but somehow I’m starting to get more feelings for Kiki.

“Well, I’m glad I met you. Otherwise I wouldn’t have found out your real secret or be the trollhunter or audition for the school play, I do like the company.” I said.

“Really?” Kiki asked.

“I was talking about Eli.” I joked.

Kiki was laughing at my joke, I miss her laugh. Toby came over to us.

"Guys. We have a problem." He said.

"Problem?" Kiki repeated.

"What kind of problem?" I asked.

Later

We stood in front of a green thing squashed.

"Volia" Toby said

"Not voila. Goblin." Aaarrrgghh answered. I poked it with a stick.

"Goblin?" I asked.

"Ruthless trickers. Petty street vandals who leave a wake of destruction. " Blinky answered.

"This isn't good." Kiki growled.

“Why? Justice was served. Shouldn’t we get back and train for Draal?” I asked.

“Not quite. Where there’s one goblin, there’s many more.” Kiki explained.

“And, as for the unfortunate soul who ran over this small fellow, may Skaargen’s swift blade have mercy!” Blinky said.
