Chapter 44: Surprise!

Lisa's POV

It was just another usual boring day, and I miss Ethan so much. But, at least he comes home in one more week ahh I'm excited. After breakfast, I decided to take a walk today since it's the first day of spring, and it's very sunny out even though it's always sunny in California. I walked around the neighborhood. Many people were outside also. I smiled at them. They all look so happy. After, walking to the end of the neighborhood I started to walk back home.

When I got to the house, there was truck parked in our driveway. I'm curious who's truck is that? It looks nice I wanna go on a ride. I went inside the house "Hey, do you guys know who truck that is?.." I exclaimed and slowly trailed off. There I saw "Luke?" I said surprised. Dani was standing behind him. "Hey" he said, his arms were behind his back. He had his smile on. Wow I haven't seen that smile of his in awhile.

Luke's POV

It's spring break. I decided to head down Malibu for a surprise visit to Lisa and her family. I took my trunk finally I get to drive this baby around somewhere that isn't crowed all the time. I headed out in the morning and stopped at a hotel half way there because it was a long drive to Mailbu from New York. The next morning I headed out early again. All together the trip took 1 day and 16 hours. I'm exhausted, but it's worth it.

Once I arrived to the Cimorelli house I rang the door. I heard someone coming to the door and it was Dani who opened the door. "Luke!" Dani exclaimed haha she sounded surprised and very excited. "Hey Dani!" I exclaimed back. She came over to hug me haha aw. "I missed you!" she said, still hugging me. "I missed you too!" I said, and laughed. "Come in!" she said, and we then headed inside the house. "Here, for you and your family." I handed Dani the flowers I bought before I got here. "Aw thank you!" she said, happily. I was holding another flower for Lisa. "So, how's Lisa?" I asked, her face then sadden. "She's" she started to say something, but someone came in the front door. "Hey do you guys know who truck that is?.." Lisa exclaimed then trailed off. I stood with the flowers behind my back. "Luke?" she said surprised. "Hey" I said, and smiled. She looked so beautiful as always but something seemed a little different.

Lisa's POV

Wow he looks..Suddenly, someone behind grabbed me and turned me around. "Surprise! Miss me?" It was Ethan. Oh my god wait what. "Ethan!" I exclaimed surprised. He smirked and laughed. Aw that smirk "What are you doing here?!" I said still stocked and surprised. "Well, I got done with my work early so now I'm here!" He said, happily. "Aw I missed you so much!" I said, hugging him. "I missed you so much too." he said, hugging me back. I pulled back and looked in his blue eyes. I glad he's back home. We leaned in and kissed. Finally I've been missing those lips.

Luke's POV

I can't believe this..they are together. I don't know how should I feel about this..But I felt anger. I'm surprised myself. Dani came up behind me. "Luke." she said softly. "Here, Dani you can have this one also." I handed her the flower that I was supposed to gave to Lisa. I then softly smiled at her and left to the other room.

Lisa's POV

After, we pulled away from our long kiss which seems forever. I forgot Luke was here and Dani. I turned around and they both were gone. Where did they go..and why was Luke here? "Come on wanna head to my place so we can celebrate?!" Ethan said, cheerfully. I spaced out for a little. "Hello, Lisa?" Ethan said, getting my attention. "Oh yeah sure! Let me just go get my stuff!" I said, and smiled. "Ok then I'll wait in the car" he said, leaving out the house.

I walked upstairs to my room to get my things. Amy came in "I see Ethan is back, just remember to come home tomorrow we have to work on the new music." she said, and left the room. Wait how did she know Ethan's back maybe she heard. After, I packed some of my stuff I walked downstairs. I heard my family being loud, happy, and laughing. Wow I haven't heard them being this happy for the past few months. I quietly walked into the other living room and peaked through. They were all gathered around Luke. I looked at their faces they all seem so happy and cheerful. I don't get it..when I'm with Ethan it's a different. This is so messed up, I need to go. At least Ethan is here now.
