"Alright...! Fine, I'll try to sleep." Bokuto pouted. Bokuto laid in bed and covered him and Akaashi with a comfortable duvet while Akaashi put his laptop that was resting on his bed on the side table near the bed. Bokuto rested his head on Akaashi's chest as Akaashi's heart was pouncing out of his chest. Akaashi and Bokuto laid in the bed for five minutes in silence, and in a way, they comforted each other like this.
" Akaashi...?"
"yes."
"..."
"..."
"Bokuto?"
"Nevermind." Bokuto took Akaashi's hand and held it. Akaashi blushed but it was hidden in the darkness of the room. Akaashi wrapped his around Bokuto's and stayed like this. Akaashi closed his eyes and got comfy and pushed his chest up against Bokuto's head and Bokuto could feel every breath Akaashi took. Akaashi tried to fall asleep, his eyes were closed, what wasn't working? Bokuto. A million thoughts about Bokuto rushing and clicking together in his mind his past life was so calm and collected in front of Bokuto, he still loved him then but wasn't all jelly when with him like he is now. He may not always appear that way, but it still showed, at least in the slightest.
After ten minutes, Akaashi was still drowning in thoughts of Bokuto but was damped." Akaashi... are you awake?" Akaashi bit his tongue. He wanted to reply but decided to continue to pretend to be asleep. Bokuto stroked Akaashi's face. He cleared the few curls from his hair that sat upon his forehead to the side of his head. Bokuto bit his lip. He inhaled as he opened his mouth to sleep but nothing came out so he shut it back. He snuggled against Akaashi and wrapped his hand around Akaashi's waist. Akaashi's heart soared. Akaashi cuddled up against Bokuto. But, when Bokuto realized Akaasi moved, he moved away. Akaashi opened one eye halfway to see what Bokuto was doing, he was blushing. Akaashi felt around the bed for Bokuto's hand. He knew it was risky but didn't care. Once he found it, he slid it up onto his arm and pulled him back onto him, eyes still closed.
Bokuto could feel Akaashi's heart beating 20 times a second and Akaashi could feel Bokuto's heart beating 30 times a half a second they both acknowledged this but ignored it.
"Bokuto..."
"Yeah..."
"..."
"..."
"Bokuto... I think...I know I love you..."
"I...love you, too."
Akaashi and bokuto were tomatoes. Bokuto and Akaashi both sat up on the bed and looked each other in the eye through a nervous rickle that tickled them up of their necks.
Akaashi's turquoise, ocean eyes searched Bokuto's golden ones. Akaashi looked down onto the bed. Bokuto reached for his chin and pushed it upwards then pulled it in towards his face and kissed Akaashi, lips pressing against one another. They both felt relieved, relaxed, and most importantly, felt each other. Bokuto wrapped his hands around Akaashi again, but this time it felt different. Better. Akaashi wrapped his hands around Bokuto's neck.
They felt complete.
Akaashi woke up to a sleeping, snoring Bokuto. A sleeping Bokuto. Akaashi relaxed and couldn't help but smile and giggle slightly when remembering the events of last night. He picked up his phone and checked the time. 11:23. "Shit!" Akaashi whispered under his breath. School started at 8:25. He looked at Bokuto and peace fulfilled him all his worries drifted like the wind. So what was a day? Plus, it wasn't as if he'd done this before, so it'd be alright. Akaashi got out of the bed but turned out, Bokuto wasn't a deep sleeper, and Akaashi apparently made too much of a fuss.
