The ghost had a bored but mocking look on her face as she looked at him, then she said mockingly, How noble. Such a great father. I applaud you, Shigaraki.
But then she followed up in a monotone sing-songy voice, Just kidding~
Then she vanished, leaving Hisashi alone in his study.
He couldn't help but just exhale deeply in exhaustion.

A few days before Izuku was to return to school, the same day that Tenko had asked his little brother if he was ready and wanted to go back to UA.
It was well deep into the night as Tenko was finishing up on the paperwork that had accumulated while he'd been taking care of his little brother, when he heard a knock at his door, making him look at its direction almost immediately.
Before he could even open his mouth, the person at the other side of the door identified himself, "It's Dad."
Tenko frowned. He stood up and then he began cleaning up and tidying his desk, then he communicated through his father's mind conversing Quirk, Just enter. It should still be open. If it's not, I'm sure you can unlock it yourself.
The knob turned and in entered Tenko's father before he shut the door close again.
Hisashi looked at his frowning eldest with a stern look in his eyes before looking over the pile of paper and folders that he could tell had just been tidied up as he knocked on the door.
"Tenko, you shouldn't be staying up late just to finish all of that. You need to sleep." Hisashi tried to tell his son.
Tenko just furrowed his brows even more, and he scoffed, "I distinctly remember that you used to stay up late many times when me and Izuku were young, so why is this different? Besides, I just didn't want you thinking I was neglecting my 'true responsibilities' or whatever it was you said."
"But I'm sure that's not really what you wanted to talk about, is it? Just cut to the chase, Dad." Tenko told his father.
Hisashi furrowed his brows as he glared at his son, then he asked, "Why are you sending your brother back to UA?"
Tenko quipped, "Why? Is it messing with whatever scheme you have at the moment?"
Hisashi just frowned at his eldest, before he shook his head and let out a sigh, "It's nothing like that, Tenko."
Tenko scoffed as he rolled his eyes. Hisashi could only sigh.
"Tenko," Hisashi pleaded for his son to listen, "Between the two of us, you have always been more determined about getting your brother away from the heroes, so why are you letting your brother go back now? And why didn't you tell me about it?" Hisashi asked.
Tenko averted gazes as he scoffed, then he muttered, "What do you think I felt when you said you didn't tell me about Izuku on purpose? Now that makes two of us."
"It doesn't feel good, does it?" Tenko asked in a mocking tone as he glared at his father.
Hisashi's mood became worse after his son said that, but still, he composed himself.
"Answer the questions, Tenko." Hisashi told his son, his voice slightly more annoyed this time, however.
"Tch." Tenko exhaled in annoyance, then he told his dad, "You wanna know why I'm sending Izuku back to UA and why I didn't tell you? It's simple, really."
Tenko raised his chin and glaring straight at his father's eyes, he told Hisashi, "It's because I don't trust you anymore, Dad."
"Is that reason enough?" Tenko asked with contempt in his voice.
"I trusted you to take care of my little brother, Dad, but what did you do?" Tenko asked his father.
"After what you did, I feel like I can trust the heroes at UA more to look after Izuku for me than you. It feels safer leaving my brother with them there, than here at home with you." Tenko told his father as his eyes were starting to water, but he fought to keep his tears back.
"I don't trust you around Izuku anymore, Dad. That's why I didn't tell you. That's why I made this decision by myself." Tenko told his father with anger in his eyes.
"But don't worry, Dad. After I accompany Izuku back to UA, I'm going back to the league and I'll focus on being a proper successor. I won't let what you did affect my performance in running your criminal empire." He assured his dad with a sneer.
Hisashi just remained silent as he looked at his son.
"I've never forgotten that I have my responsibilities as your successor, Dad." Tenko affirmed.
"I just hope you don't forget that Izuku is my responsibility too." He reminded his father.
