Lets Fight Iida!

Your POV

You walked threw the halls of the stadium preparing yourself for your battle with Iida. Your arms still sting a little after your first fight but you didn't let that pain stop you. 'Nothing I haven't felt before. Just gotta keep pushing myself and make sure I win.' You thought.

"A new way of using your Quirk. Hm." A voice that sounded like All Might in his base form said. You turned your head over to a corner as you saw him and Deku walking. You took a glimpse at Deku's casted arms and then they both came to a stop as you stood casually behind the wall. "Hey All Might? Remember when you told me why you came to UA in the first place? To find a worthy successor to inherit One For All? I put everything I had into the sports festival. But still... There were other competitors who fought for their victory harder than I did. So maybe...." Deku trailed off. "You're thinking it might be better if someone else inherited One For All?" All Might asked. "Yes." Deku said. "You speak the truth. This place is filled if incredible potential heroes. One For All is a crystallization of power. It bolsters Quirks. For example if Young Todoroki were to inherit it the strength added to his own Quirk would probably make him an unbeatable superhero. But you know, I was Quirkless too as a kid." All Might said.

'Hm. All Might used to be Quirkless eh?' You thought.

"Quirkless? Seriously?" Deku asked. "Back then it wasn't as rare of a thing. But it was still out of the ordinary. Even though I didn't have a power of my own, I had someone who believed in my potential. My master gave me One For All and raised me to become a hero." All Might said. "You never told me about that." Deku said shocked. "It's not my fault you never asked. Which is honestly surprising." All Might said. "I just can't believe that the number one hero was Quirkless." Deku said. "It's true. When we first met. I saw a little of the old me in you. But kid, you've gone beyond my expectations, time and time again. One day you're gonna do incredible things with One For All. That's something I truly believe." All Might said. "I'll do my best!' Deku told him and they continued to walk down the hall unknown to your presence as you emerged from the corner behind them and watch them walk off. "Tch." Then you walked the other way.

Elsewhere/ Narrator POV

In a different part of the city, the pro tech hero Ingenium raced down the street after getting strange police reports of a known wanted man in the area. "Squad A head noth. Squad B check the west side!" He said to his sidekicks on his comm.

As he raced down the street he saw something in an alleyway and made a sharp u turn. He jumped in the using the buildings to land in the alleyway. Once in the alleyway he came face to face with a man with two swords and tons of knifes wearing bandage clothes around his body with a red scarf around his neck also wearing leather boots with spikes. "I've found you! Hero Killer!" Ingenium said as the man turned to face him with red eyes.

Back at the sports festival/ Narrator POV

The next match between Kirishima and Bakugo raged on as Kirishima threw a punch at him and Bakugo barely dodged it only grazing his cheek as he landed a small explosion on Kirishima's side. "Hah! Nice try but that's not gonna work on me Explosion Boy!" Kirishima said.

Deku made it back to the stands as their match went on. "Kirishima and Kacchan. So that would mean Iida and Tokoyami finished their fights. Man I wish I could have seen them fight." He said. He watched as Bakugo was trying to dodged Kirishima's punches while being backed up. "Whoa Kacchan on the defensive? Kirishima's Quirk is very effective." He said.

"Midoriya!" A voice called. Deku turned around and saw Iida walking over to him. "I take it your surgery went well. I'm glad." Iida said. "Yeah. Thank you and congrats on your win." Deku said. "I'm up against Akio. I watched his match closely. I need to learn from it if I'm going to win." Iida said. "Yeah. Hey how is Ingenium taking your victories. I take it he's proud of his little brother." Deku said. "Actually I tried calling him but he was busy." Iida said. "Oh sorry." Deku said. "No. It's for the best. When we do talk maybe I'll get to tell him I won." Iida said.
