Breaking The Ice

It's been weeks since Andrei and I started dating. Sobra ang pag-aadjust na ginagawa ko dahil sa tagal kong naging single nakalimutan ko na yata paano kumilos bilang isang girlfriend. Nakakapanibago na araw-araw akong may natatanggap na message kung okay lang ba ko or kung nasaan ba ako. 

I don't know if I should do that too pero hindi lang talaga ako ganun as a person. But it makes me feel guilty. Baka isipin naman ni Andrei I don't care about him as much as he  cares about me.

When I was with Hanz, I was a different person back then. I like being clingy to Hanz. Atsaka madali lang naman sya hagilapin kasi we went to the same school. Kaya araw-araw din kaming magkasama so there was no need asking for our whereabouts or how we were doing that day. Kaya di ko na talaga alam! 

I am such a noob when it comes to dating. Dagdag pa na I was THE ice princess kaya very unusual na maging sweet ako kahit kanino. Even when it comes to my boyfriend who is approaching me now. He just came from his new work. Nakakuha siya ng magandang position sa isang kilalang clothing brand. 

"So how was your first day?" tanong ko sa kanya as soon as he sat beside me. 

Nandito kami ngayon sa paborito naming coffee shop. The one that has a roof deck. It's just so relaxing here dahil wala namang gaanong tao ang pumupunta sa roof deck part ng coffee shop na ito.

"Well, it was great. Met a lot of big names. Hindi lang ako sanay na ako ang nag-uutos. Nasanay ako na ako yung inuutus-utusan" he smirked at me.

"Sino bang utos nang utos sayo? Ha?" I smirked back at him.

"Yung boss ko dati. Grabe talaga yun. Lahat na lang suuingin ko para sa kanya" nagkunwari syang sumasakit ang ulo niya which I find cute kaya napatawa ako.

"Natatawa ka ba kasi naaalala ko na naman yung experience ko sa dati kong trabaho?" he pouted.

"I was mentally giving myself a high-five dahil I successfully gave you stress" I grinned.

"Tuwang-tuwa ka pa talaga." he pouted even more and crossed his arms.

"Ganyan ba talaga kumilos yung may professional job?" I asked while supressing a laugh.

"Only in front of my girlfriend" he smiled. 

I immediately blushed as soon as I heard the word "girlfriend" from his mouth. When will I get used to this?!

"Hindi ka pa rin ba sanay?" he chuckled then reached for my hand which I gladly took.

"Alam mo namang hindi ko gawain 'to. I never had a boyfriend again. Also, I did not expect na magiging tayo after all the push and pull we've been doing" 

"We've been doing?" he arched his left eyebrow "Ikaw lang ang push and pull kaya" he laughed.

"Duh? You have ate Tiffany on the side while crushing on me" I smirked and raised an eyebrow at him, too. 

He blinked three times before answering.

"Hindi ko sidechick si ate mo okay? She knows that I like you. A lot. Ilang beses ko ba ieexplain sayo Jimenez?" he pursed his lips.

"Okay" I simply said and rested my back even more on the chair.

"Okay na ha?" he caressed my hand he was holding and softly looked at me. 

"Of course, I was just teasing you" I smiled at him which he returned.

"Of course, you love teasing me" he laughed and it reached his eyes.
