Rishi(surprised,mind): Do they know her?
Through the big driveway, he stops the car at the main door,
Preetha: Stay here.
Saying she rushes in with out listening him.
Rishi: Kya kar rai hein yeh?
Preetha enters inside the luxurious hall after nearly two months to see Mahesh and Sameer in phones and Sahana sitting calmly in the huge sofa,
Preetha: Sameer!
That diverts their attention,
Sameer: Babhi!
He immediately walks to her but is afraid what Sahana would do,
Preetha: Where's Karan?
Sameer: Pata nai babhi. Do din se bhai ghar nai aaya.
Preetha: Kisi friend ke paas ya kuch business keliye gaya hoga.
Sameer: Aapko bhai ke baare mein pata hein Babhi. Wo papa ko bina bathake kuch nai kartha.Dad didn't received anything from him. No calls messages or nothing. In short we don't know anything about his whereabouts.
Preetha: Did you trace his car and mobile?
Sameer: We found his car and mobile near a market yesterday afternoon which is unusual because Bhai never goes there.
Preetha: His call data?
Sameer: Last call was with me at 8:15. There are no suspicious calls.
Preetha remains rooted thinking of all possibilities,
Mahesh: Something is utterly wrong and it feels like....
Preetha(slowly): Karan is captured.
The three concluded it but couldn't voice out and Preetha voiced their fear.
Preetha: Did you got any clues?
Sameer: You know that all our cars have devices which record the travel data. We retrieved the traveling data from bhai's car. It showed he started at 8:00PM from office on his usual route to home. When he is 15 mins away, at the signal his car took another route to port area, halted for 15 mins and again travelled to many places finally stopping at the market which is on the other side of the city where we found the car. Any of those routes don't have cameras on the way. We checked the car thoroughly, there are no finger prints or different smells. And his phone is switched off.
She keenly listens everything,
Preetha: From whatever you said we can figure out something happened at that signal. Karan doesn't have anything to do in Port area that means he was taken there.(taking slow steps) Someone was also in the car with him. They drove the car.(frowns) But it's a public route, they can't forcefully take him or threaten him. Maybe he was made unconscious.
Preetha widen her eyes at the realisation while Sameer slowly understands what she said. That might be possible,
Sameer: But Babhi who might have the guts to do such a task? I mean he abducted Karan Luthra. The chief of Luthra industries.
Preetha: It is a pre planned abduct Sameer. Whoever did it they knew Karan fully or they might have been observing him or knew him personally. I am sure it involved high personel.
Mahesh & Sameer looks at eachother,
Preetha: Do we have any blank threats or calls or anything suspicious?
As Ravi was also there, he responds,
Ravi: No Ms.Everything is clear in and out.
Mahesh: Whoever did this didn't leave anything doubtful. They did it with skill but who that might be?
They are all blank at the moment,
Sameer: Shall I talk to the Commissioner dad?
Mahesh: We have the best cyber and security teams. If we can't then it's impossible for police.
Preetha then so suddenly remembers something,
Preetha(loudly): Wait .... they can help.
They all look at her,
Preetha: The night before Milan Rishi and I went for Siddi Vinayak temple.On the way back, we saw diversion signs which were not there before nevertheless we took the said road but it was deserted. Out of no where two people wearing masks appeared and started dragging us. However we fought and returned to the original route and I complained to the police through phone. On Milan night Karan told they were criminals and took my phone from the police.
The three are shocked listening the incident.
Mahesh(firmly): Why didn't you both tell us? It's a serious issue Preetha.
Preetha: I....just didn't want you people to worry about us.
Mahesh shakes his head disappointed,
Preetha: I left the matter but now when I think about it I can say it was a planned thing. I mean they purposely had put those signs to divert us ......only us because there's no vehicle behind. They are waiting for us.
Sameer: Might be some local thugs Babhi.
Preetha: No Sammy. They didn't even ask for money or something they just dragged us like that's what they were there for.
Sameer: What do you say then ?
Preetha: My gut feeling says those guys might know about Karan. Do one thing Sameer.......call to that PS and know what happened to them after the complaint.Get our men to find them.
Atleast they got one loose thread which might lead to Karan. Sameer immediately gets in contacts when Mahesh calls him,
Mahesh: No one I repeat no one should know about this. If this news is leaked we have to face grave consequences not only in business but in person also. So make sure no body knows about it. And Gear up the best team Sameer. We have to find him at any cost.
Sameer: On it dad.
They pull up their socks all the while praying for him.
GARDEN
Meanwhile Rishi is strolling in the huge garden with confusion over all his mind and face when a helper sees him,
Helper: Kaun hein?
He doesn't know what to answer because he himself doesn't know why they are here,
Rishi (hesitantly): Preetha....
Helper: Ohh aap Preetha beti ke saath aaye ho. Fir yaha kya kar rahe ho andar jaao.
Rishi(clueless): Aap Preetha ko jaanthe hein?
Helper: Apni malikin ko nai jaantha hu kya?
Rishi: Matlab?
Helper: Arey aap ko pata hoga aap kiske liye kaam kar rahe ho. Nai?
Rishi(confused): Aap Preetha keliye kaam kar rahe ho?
Helper: Sirf Unkeliye hi nai pura ghar ko sambhaltha hu.
Rishi: Wait.....wait ....Preetha aur iss ghar ka rishta kya hein?
Helper: Preetha beti iss ghar ki bahu hein.
Rishi(loudly): Kya?
Helper: Karan beta ki patni hein wo.
