Odin hummed, nodding before turning to walk out, his guards following leaving us alone to catch up. I turn to Thor, giving him a sympathetic look and placing my hand on his shoulder.

"He's mad at the world- we'll really me, but still... very angry today. He's been oddly bitter lately," Thor gave me a look. "More than his usual I mean." I yanked his ear, stepping back.

"Understood, that's actually why I'm back. Mother asked for me to come and see if I could lift his spirits." He stated, looking in the direction our father had just gone.

"Pfffft-" I let a small laugh pass. "Good luck with that, you just make him angrier, you're his least favourite you know?" I tease, a smug smile playing on my lips.

He rolled his eyes, ruffling my hair before pulling back to see the bird's nest he had created. Though, I didn't give him much of a chance seeing as my hands were immediately coming up to smooth it back down as I glared at him.

"You're annoying..." I grumble, pulling my hands back to rest on my hips. "Have time to catch up? I can go get Sif and the rest then we can meet for some drinks!" I'm smiling again, and he shakes his head.

"Have to go check in with Frigga. Raincheck for later maybe?"

A little letdown, I frown but still give him an approving nod. Patting him on the shoulder again, I beam up at him. "It's good to have you home."

"Good to be home." He gives back, smiling at me before walking down the hall.

I turn the other way, looking down at some of the glass remains as I step over them beginning to make my way to find Sif. Quickly being stopped by walking right into a body, I look up ready to call the culprit all kinds of stupid, but instead, I'm met with an angry Loki. Rolling my neck as I step back crossing my arms.

"Got a dagger up your ass today, brother?" I poke, knowing I'm probably irritating him with just my presence.

"Shut up, Ingrid." He says in the angriest tone he can muster towards me before trying to walk away. I stop him, holding my arm out straight in front of him.

"No 'hello, sister'? Great to see you as well." I huff, I don't want to anger him- well, maybe a little. I'm just tired of this 'How do we know you're truly my sister, Odin could be lying about that as well!' bullshit. Even without the word of our Mother, there are so many traits to prove we're twins. He's just too angry at Father to see it.

"We aren't doing this right now, I need to ask Mother a question. So if you could just-" he grabbed my arm and shoved it to my chest, patting my bicep and giving me a sarcastic thumbs up and walking away.

"You're so annoying!" I yell, the sound slightly echoing through the room as I follow behind him. Sif later, idiot brother now. He doesn't respond, or surprisingly enough, tell me to go away.

Making it all the way to the library where our mother is sitting reading a book, probably learning a new spell. I shove past him, flopping down next to her and sighing dramatically as I place the back of my hand on my forehead.

"Oh woe is me, I'm Loki. My twin sister is fake and I've come to ask our mother for the billionth time to tell me that I'm right!" I give out a playful impression of him as I lean against my mother, who beams down at me amused at my show. We both stifle back laughs and look up at Loki who is glaring at me. Damn, if looks could kill...

"No, actually I've come to ask why I was stopped at the gates and told I'm not to leave the castle." He finally turns his attention to Frigga who has a slightly surprised expression.

"Ask your father. I haven't been told about it, I'm as confused as you." She shrugs, returning to her book and absentmindedly moving her hand up and running her fingers through my hair.
