"Alright," Claudia said with a smile as she pulled a sweatshirt over her head.

"Just don't get detention," Betty said with a small yawn. "You don't wanna lose your detention-virginity...or your virginity for that matter."

"Betty!" Claudia scolded with a whisper-shout and an amused smile on her face. "I'm just going see what all the fuss is about, don't make it into something it's not."

"I'm not!" she defended with a mischievous smile. "I just know you've been growing closer to Remus is all."

"Oh, Sirius is such a rat," Claudia said with a roll of her eyes. "And I don't even know what that is all about, we're just friends!"

"Just friends my arse," Betty said under her breath. "Can you please go now so I can get my beauty sleep?"

"Oh, but you'll look pretty either way!" Claudia smiled.

"I know, I'm just trying to get you out of here."

"Rude," Claudia noted as she started walking. "Well, I'm going now so you're getting your wish granted!"

"Bye bye, love you!" Betty called after her.

"Love you!"

As Claudia walked with the invisibility cloak over her towards the designated spot to meet the boys, she suddenly heard a rather spiteful conversation going on between some boys around the corner.

Well, it wasn't just "some boys", it was actually the four Marauders and Severus Snape having that very conversation.

"Well, guess what, Snivellus? I. Don't. Care," Claudia heard James say.

"Stop calling me that!" Snape hissed.

"I will once you wash your hair and leave Evans alone!"

"I won't do that!"

"What? Wash your hair or leave Evans alone?"

"I will not stop being friends with Lily," Snape said sternly. "You're just gonna have to live with the fact that she likes me more than you."

And with a flick of James' wand, Claudia suddenly witnessed Snape's pants falling down.

That was not a sight for sore eyes.

However, even though Claudia didn't exactly like Severus Snape, she did not condone James' actions, nor did she condone the fact that the rest of the boys only laughed as they let it happen.

Claudia knew what it was like to be on the receiving end of something wrong, even though what she would experience was nothing against getting your pants pulled down, so she simply couldn't just stand and watch James continue.

So, she pulled off the cloak and decided to do something about it.

"What's going on here?" Claudia asked in her most pompous voice as she walked towards them. "Why are you five out after hours?"

"I could ask you the same question," Snape snarled as he pulled up his pants.

"I'm a prefect," she said to him with a sweet smile. "I've come to keep people out of the corridors after curfew, you would know about that being a prefect yourself, wouldn't you?"
