Pope jumped into Lucy's arms, him spinning her around making her laugh.
"How does that feel it?" JJ asked amused.
"Bring your ass back up here!" Heyward yelled to his kid.
"I'll promise I'll do it tomorrow, Dad. I promise." Pope said as the others waved bye to Popes dad.
They laughed as they watched the dad yell at Pope from afar.
"So how does it feel to be a bad boy Pope?" JJ asked him. He looked at him and glared.
"This newfound personality makes you very attractive Pope." Lucy joked.
"Please I can tell you've wanted me since 7th grade." Pope fired back.
"Damn you caught me." Lucy laughed making Pope chuckle.
They soon pulled up to Kie's dock as she walked down it holding a cooler.
"Oh top o' the mornin' to ya." JJ said looking at the cooler, excited to see if there was beer.
"Morning boys, and freckles." Kie greeted.
"Whatcha got? You got some juice boxes?" Pope asked as Kie hopped into the boat.
"You know, just some yogurts and carrot sticks." Kie said sitting down. She sat next to Lucy, pecking her cheek.
"What about my kind of juice boxes?" JJ asked the girl.
"Yeah." She answered simply making them cheer as everyone except Pope grab a beer. "And for you Lucy, an actual fruit punch juice box."
"I love you." Luc gasped, putting her beer down to drink the juice box. "Salud." Lucy said clinking her juice with JJ's beer.
They sailed through the marsh talking and laughing.
"Let me show you a party trick!" JJ said as he ran to the front of the deck, stood on the edge. "Hey Pope, can you go a little faster?"
"Oh god here we go. I'm movin'." Pope said speeding up.
"It doesn't work JJ." Lucy said already knowing what JJs about to do. "We've tried this like 6,000 times!"
"I got this it's gonna work!" JJ said as he started to try and catch the beer that was flying with the wind into his mouth. Lucy laughed hysterical as he failed miserably.
"Oh my god, your getting beer in my hair!" Kie exclaimed trying to deflect the beer.
They continued to laugh until the boat suddenly hit something making it stop. Kie, John, Luciana and Pope, fell forward while JJ flew into the water.
The boy swam to the surface and floated there, groaning in pain.
"You okay JJ?" John B asked as he groaned himself.
"I think my heels touched the back of my head." JJ said still groaning.
"My Juice box straw stabbed my tongue." Lucy whined in pain.
"Pope what did you do?" JJ said as he swam back to the boat.
"Sandbar. The channel changed." Pope said.
"No shit." Lucy said sitting back up.
"Ugh this is probably gonna mess this whole place up." John B said.
"Hey I saved the beer though." JJ said proudly.
"Guys," Pope said grabbing the other fours attention. "I think there's a boat down there." He said looking at the water.
