"Mr. Malhotra, must say your wife is very beautiful." the British lady, who's name is Emilia said. I said a soft 'thank you' to her. The men were conversing in their business topics, while us ladies were talking about random things. Technically they both were and I was just nodding and saying 'yes' or 'no'. "Maya, what have you gotten a degree in?" Emilia asked in her British accent. "I am studying to be a doctor currently. First year." "Wow, you seem to be young." Aarti, the other wife said.

"I think we shall take your leave now. We have bags that need to be packed." Adi said, standing up. I stood up also, including everyone else. "It was nice working with you Mr. Malhotra and meeting your wife." the British man said. "Hope to see you soon for another project." the Indian man, this time said. We bid bye and left the restaurant. Bags to be packed? Are we leaving?

London Eye

We were again touring London. We then came to a big ferris wheel looking thing. What is this ferris wheel looking thing? "It's called the London Eye." Adi said. Did I say that out loud? 'No. He knew what you were thinking because you share the same mind. Well obviously you said it out loud.'

He went into one of the capsules and he turned towards me. I looked at him confused. "We're going inside that?" I asked. "Then why do you think I'm inside it. Of course we are! Now come or do I need Queen Elizabeth to make you get inside." he said sarcastically. This thing! Never! It goes so high up. "What happened? Are you scared of heights?" Adi said walking back to me, in a fake innocent tone. Is he trying to make fun of me!? "N..no. I'll go inside..this eye thing." I said. I bit my lip and walked inside the capsule. "See!" I said with fake proudness. He walked inside the capsule and got closer to me. "We'll see." he whispered by my face and walked to the other side, thankfully.

I took a deep breath when the capsule started going up. I had closed my eyes the whole time when it was going up and held the sides of my dress. "You aren't scared na. Then look." My eyes opened when I felt someone drag me. It was Adi. He made me stand in front of the glass panel and I looked down, letting out a shriek. I turned around and closed my eyes tightly, trying to stop my thumping heart. "Can this thing end already and reach down." I whispered.

"Maya, open your eyes." I heard close up to my face. I felt a breath fan on my face and knew it was Adi. I shook my head side ways, aggressively. "Maya, I said open your eyes." he said again. "It's..so high. I'll..fall." I said lowly. "I won't ever let you fall. Trust me. Open your eyes." After hearing that sentence which was full of assurance, I opened my eyes. My eyes met with those light brown eyes which had an ocean of emotions, which I wanted to drown in. I then saw he had both his hands on the side of the poll, which caged me. My breathing got rapid seeing the closeness.

He turned me around slowly, making me look out the glass window. I was about to turn around again but he held both the sides of my shoulders, making me stop. "Look." he said by my ear. I looked out the window once again, with no choice and saw the beauty. It was looking amazing. Everything looked so small from here but beautiful. "It's beautiful." I whispered. "It indeed is.." I heard him whisper. I looked up at him and saw him already looking at me. My blood rushed to my cheeks and I looked away, back out the window.

The capsule unfortunately stopped, making Adi let go of my shoulders and let out a awkward cough. I shyly followed him outside the capsule.
