Oo nga naman. Hindi nga naman sila.

Ano pa bang ie-expect niya? They have been like this for a year now, only meeting in secret. Hindi niya pwedeng ipagsabi sa mga kaibigan niya ang ginagawa niya. Because a part of her was ashamed of herself. She's sleeping with a childhood friend na crush niya simula mga bata pa sila.

But he never is serious enough to ask her out and be in a real relationship with her.

However, she also couldn't get out of this set up. As much as she wants a real relationship with him, kung ayaw nito ay wala siyang magagawa. Ayaw niyang mawala ito sa buhay niya.

So if bedwarmer lang talaga siya para dito, then she'd take it.

"Good night," tipid na paalam ni Miguel.

She nodded and then got out of the car to walk towards their gates.

After dropping her off ay umalis na rin ito.

She just sighed before entering.

"How was Singapore? Balita ko ang dami mo daw binili," tatawa-tawang wika ni Saritha sa kaibigang si Ashley. "Your husband Aries was complaining to Yego about it yesterday."

Tawa lamang ang isinagot ni Ashley. "Well, you know how much I love a beautiful clothing collection. I saw this designer in Singapore. She's Chinese but she has the most beautiful boutique. Napabili ako ng mga sampung gowns from her collection. I also brought you home this."

Saritha accepted the box and opened it to see a dainty summer hat. "Oh, my God. This looks so nice."

"I also brought one home for your beautiful daughter."

Saktong pagpasok ni Dahlia sa living room. Kakagaling lang niyang school for an org project na ino-organize niya. She leads a community organization in school na nagbibigay ng donations sa mga orphans sa iba't ibang orphanage sa Pilipinas.

"There she is, my beautiful kind-hearted daughter!" Saritha exclaimed. "Halika muna dito, hija. May regalong dala sa'yo ang Tita Ashley mo."

"H-hi, Tita!" bati niya sa kaibigan ng mama niya, who happens to be Miguel's mother. [Check out My Stepsister is Mine series in my profile for the stories of Ashley and Saritha.]

"Hija, paganda ka talaga ng paganda. May boyfriend ka na ba?" tuwang-tuwang tanong nito sa kanya.

"Po? Ahhh... wala po," she replied, while trying to keep a straight face. Had her Tita Ashley only knew! Dahlia was always sneaking in his son's condo to do stuff with him.

"Nako, dapat magboyfriend ka na! Eighteen ka na, hindi ba? Ang mama mo nga, nagpakasal na at eighteen!" suhol nito.

"Gaga ka, Ashley. Well, fixed marriage naman yung amin ng Papa niya. I don't want my daughter to be forced on anything."

"Tama ka naman. But anyway, hija, come here. Take my gift!" At iniabot ni Ashley sa kanya ang isang box.

"Salamat po. Hope you enjoyed your trip in Singapore and Malaysia."

"Oh, alam mong nagMalaysia din kami?" gulat na tanong ni Ashley.

"M-Miguel just mentioned. He was with Kuya Diego the other day," she quickly answered. Oh my God! She almost slipped!

"Oh, okay. Enjoy it, hija. Perfect ang regalo ko for the beach."

Ngumiti na lamang si Ashley bago nagdire-diretso pataas ng kwarto.

God, she was so damn tired! Hindi niya in-expect na nandoon pa ang Tita Ashley niya. Iniwan niya ang box sa study table niya pati na rin ang bag niya at humiga kagad sa kama.
