I couldn't help but feel the slightest tug of relief as Alfea appeared on the horizon, its silhouette a welcome sight against the backdrop of the sky. Home, finally. It had been a long journey, and while the chaos was behind us, the comfort of familiarity was something I didn't realize I'd been craving.

"Alright, everyone. Almost there," I said, my voice steady as I glanced around the ship, just enough to make sure no one was getting too carried away. Honestly, I wasn't much for fanfare. Things were always easier when they were quiet, orderly... predictable.

The ship descended with its usual hum, and the platform opened with a soft click. One by one, we stepped off, my boots hitting the ground with a satisfying thud. The courtyard of Alfea stretched before us, like an old friend, welcoming us home without any need for words.

"Bloom, what's up, girl?"

"We did it!"

"You guys rock!"

"We made it!"

"I'm so glad to see you guys," came the chorus of voices, and I didn't even need to turn my head to know who they were.

I didn't waste any time. My feet moved on their own, carrying me straight to the group of friends that had been waiting for us. Flora, Musa, Tecna... I pulled them into a hug, my arms wrapping around them with a force that was probably a little more than necessary, but I didn't care. They'd been a steady part of this whole mess, and the sight of them grounded me.

"[Name], we missed you," Flora said, her voice warm, even if a little surprised by my eagerness.

I pulled back just enough to meet their eyes, flashing them a smile that caught them off guard for a brief moment. But it didn't take long for the same expressions to soften, for their own smiles to appear, reaching them faster than they probably expected.

But then, they noticed the Pixies.

My gaze flicked to them—small, hovering forms, their wings fluttering softly in the breeze—and I waved a hand lazily, gesturing to the group.

"These are the Pixies," I said, keeping my tone flat. I wasn't about to pretend I was excited about their presence, even if they were part of the deal now.

The Pixies, naturally, were eager to make their introductions. It was almost cute in a way, how enthusiastic they were, like overcaffeinated children.

"Hey, hey, check this out!" Yuki said, catching my eye for a brief moment before turning her attention to the others. "This one's Digit," she added with a proud grin.

Tecna blinked in surprise, her curiosity piqued. "Is that an actual Pixie? How fascinating!"

"Yeah, that's Digit," Layla chimed in, trying to sound more collected than she felt.
