Zurkie's Gastropub

"Wh- where'd you get that many bolts?" She asked, looking at me quizzically.

"I've been picking them up since our first encounter with Mrs Zurkon..." I said, looking away and blushing again. "You bought those weapons for me, and made me a new arm-" I ran my fingers along the cold, black metal and sighed, silent for a moment. "I wanted to get something for you at some point." I admitted, breaking the silence and looking back up at Rivet, who was also blushing heavily. "I, uh... I still have some left, y'know- If you want, I- after we get this part, we can-"

"I'd like that." She said softly, looking into my eyes and smiling. I smiled back, Clank silently shaking his head behind me.

"Ah, reminds me of when I was just a young bot..." Mrs Zurkon reminisced, which brought both Rivet and I back to reality.

"Let's, uh... go get that part-" Rivet said, continuing to walk up the ramp. I stood there for a moment, my heart racing in my chest.

(small timeskip, Y/N follows Rivet inside and they enter the building. im too lazy to write heaps and heaps of talking while theyre just running down a hall)

Rivet and I walked in to the bar, the large room dimly lit. "Zurkie's usually behind the bar. He'll know where to find the pirate with the spare parts." She stated, leading me towards the bar.

We got to the bar and I took Clank off my back, placing him on the bar because he wouldn't have been able to see over it if I had put him on a stool. Rivet leaned on the bar and waved to Zurkie, the robot behind the bar, who hovered over and greeted us. "Namaste and peace be with you Rivet."

I sat down on a stool, resting my arms on the bar as I watched the two talk.

"Hey Zurkie! Have you seen our 'favourite' first mate anywhere? I need a signal booster." She explained, when suddenly a slim, strangely built robot showed up from seemingly nowhere, startling both Rivet and me.

"Well well well, we meet again my wee Cherie." The robot teased, tossing what I could only assume to be the signal booster we needed up in the air and spoke. I watched his movements carefully. I could already tell this guy was a bit sketchy, to say the least. I cleared my throat, alerting him to my presence. "Ah, and I see you have an entourage with you!" He exclaimed, addressing Clank and I.

Rivet laughed lightly, looking at me and silently saying "I'm not having any of it either, don't worry." She turned back to him and a bit of a smug smile spread onto her face, her robotic hand open in front of her. "Give me the part." She said, glancing over to a group of similarly built robots in a booth nearby, most likely his entourage.

"Did you follow me here?" The robot asked in an obviously fake French accent, which he held as the conversation moved along. Everyone had a thing, I guess. "Another fruitless effort to win my affection?"

"Just give us the part, lanky." I said, looking at the robot smugly. He glared at me for a second before turning his attention back to Rivet.

"Time and again, I tell you my heart is taken, and yet--" Pierre began only to be cut off by Clank, who had been silently watching us until now.

"Rusty Pete?" Clank asked, eyeing the robot.

"Rusty?" Pierre asked, looking down at the little robot in disgust, dramatically pulling away at the word. "Mon dieu! Your friend has a saucy tongue!" He said to Rivet, waving his finger around in front of her face. "My name is Pierre Le Fer-- pirate extraordinaire."

"I'll fight you for it." Rivet offered, walking away from the bar while Clank and I exchanged confused glances, Rivet's words causing Pierre to turn around and his crew to look over.
