"One of you will pay for this, right?" Mason asked looking at Damon and Alaric who were still sitting behind us and I laughed. "Cheers"
"Cheers" I added throwing back another shot.
"Let's get to it" Damon said looking at Mason. "I killed you, if you want revenge get in line" I growled and went to move forward at the audacity of him saying that right in front of me but Mason caught my arm pulling me back, I was still shocked that I could actually feel his touch but I frowned at him for stopping me.
"Actually I want an apology" Mason argued making my frown deepen as Alaric laughed behind Damon making me glare at him.
"Good luck with that"
"Don't you have family to haunt?" Damon asked Mason. "Your niece there has been following me around like a puppy for weeks now and you know your nephew was turned into a mindless hybrid minion"
"That's why I'm here" Mason replied pulling on my arm again when I went to move towards Damon ready to hit the son of a bitch. "To help Tyler" Damon scoffed.
"Well sorry to break it to you buddy but Tyler can't be helped, at least not while Klaus is alive which is like always" Damon argued.
"Not necessarily, not if you found a weapon that could kill him"
"There is no weapon that-" Damon cut off his argument seeing the look on Mason's face that said he knew there actually was a weapon. "What do you know?"
"I know you need to apologize" Mason replied making me frown since I wouldn't be giving these arseholes anything but then this was for Tyler and there was no way I could take on the original hybrid by myself.
"You gotta be kidding me" Damon spat making me glare at him.
"Are you incapable of remorse?" I spat at him venomously.
"Just apologize" Alaric added and Damon sighed.
"You're right, I didn't have to kill you I do a lot of things I don't have to do" Damon said and Mason just laughed since that was the worst apology in the history of apologies.
"That's good enough" Mason said making me frown.
"Are you serious, that was a terrible apology"
"It's the best I'm gonna get out of him, Hothead" Mason argued.
"Stop calling me that, you know I hate it"
"I know you do" he replied with a smile ruffling the top of my head making me swat his hand away before he turned to Damon. "Meet me at the old Lockwood cellar, bring a shovel" he told him and I saw him look at Alaric for a second. "Come alone"
"What are you gonna bury me alive?" Damon asked and I scoffed.
"Don't tempt us" Mason and I said at the same time making me laugh as we walked out getting into my car but we didn't go anywhere.
"So...your revenge plan" Mason spoke up making me frown. "It's not worth your life"
"They killed you in cold blood, you can't just expect me to let that go"
"Yes I do" he replied and I rolled my eyes hands tightening around the steering wheel. "Tyler needs you now Hadley, I got myself into the mix with vampires and I paid the price I don't want to see you on The Other Side" he added making my frown deepen.
"Are you okay...you know over there, I've heard things are dark and...lonesome?" I asked
"I'm okay" he nodded and I sighed feeling like that was a lie but I didn't say anything instead I started my car and started driving out to the old Lockwood cellar.
