This was an idea that Helicopter_Wannabe asked for (thank you! Sorry if I did it wrong!)

Ushijima was always very protective of his best friend. Why shouldn't he be? Tendou was one of the only people who felt relaxed around him. His dear friend was also bulled as a kid and Ushijima felt it was his job to protect him. Tendou was very important to him and he just wanted him to be as happy as possible. Until a student called Fuume started hanging out with Tendou.

Fuume was a guy who was funny and smart. He smelled like maple syrup and plums. He liked purple way to much even for a Shiratorizawa student. He was into manga and he seemed to bounce the same way Tendou did every once in a while. Though Tendou's new friend had all these nice and interesting qualities, Ushijima didn't appreciate his presence. He didn't like it when Tendou introduced him to Fuume, and he certainly didn't like it when he would walk up to Tendou to walk him to class. That was their thing why was this boy making Tendou smile like that?

At first he thought it was the fact that Tendou had gotten a new friend, but then he saw the way Fuume slightly touched him on the arm with his hand. Maybe Tendou thought he had a new friend but Fuume obviously wanted more from his beloved best friend.

Ushijima was laying on his bed while Reon read a book on the opposite bed. He was thinking about Tendou and Fuume's relationship when he felt an unfamiliar pit in his stomach.

"Reon." Said roommate turned to look at him, then hummed. "What do you think about Tendou and Fuume's relationship?" Reon sat there with a slightly surprised look on his face.

"I guess they became friends really quickly. I think Fuume has a small crush on Tendou though." He replied with a hand on his chin. "Why'd you ask?"

"I don't like him." Ushijima states bluntly.

"Why not?"

"He likes Tendou." Reon took that in really quick.

"So.. you like Tendou?" Ushijima's face turned a slight red. "Oh my fucking god! Why do I keep guessing my teammates crushes?!?" He rubbed his eyes in slight annoyance.

"What do you mean?" Ushijima deadpanned.

"I mean first it was Semi than it was Goshiki and now you? Next thing I know I'll know those two ball boy's crushes!" The poor guy seemed kind of freaked out at his own idea. "Listen, just confess to Tendou, I can't deal with another pinning idiot." His eyes were pleading and Ushijima could feel Reon's suffering.

"Okay." He said before thinking it through. In all honesty he had no idea how to confess to someone. "How do I do that?" Reon smacked his own forehead.

"You know what? I'll take care of it. You just have to tell him when you notice me medaling in your love life." Reon rolled up his sleeves, took out his notebook and started angrily writing whatever plan he had come up with.

A week later Ushijima found himself on a hike with Tendou and sadly Fuume. They were in the middle of the woods with trees that roamed straight up to the sky, leafs and shrubs everywhere. He thinks Reon planned this but he doesn't know how Fuume got hear.

Tendou took a mossy branch from the ground and pointed the way. His head was held high. Ushijima heard the sound of rushing water and saw Tendou perk up before running off to find the body of water. Ushijima kept a close eye on Tendou to see that he was safe while looking at the beauty all around him and trying to ignore Fuume. They walked upon a creek. Tendou was already taking off his shoes so he could play in the water. Fuume seemed entertained by throwing rocks into the water and watching the splash.

Tendou rolled his pants up and ventured into the water. There was a slippery rock that Tendou stepped on and he fell in the creek.
He started laughing and tried to get up but his face scrunched up in pain.
