"I don't spend every night thinking about idiots."

"What..."

"Y/n. You're important. To me. To too many people, if you ask me. And if you call yourself an idiot again, I'm going to punish you. Later."

"Tomura..."

"Got it?"

"But I signed it. Overhaul, he had a marriage license and now we're... married? Everything is awful."

Gently, his hand brushed some of my hair back. "You really think I'd let you do something stupid like that?"

"What?"

"Y/n. You didn't sign shit."

"What? Yes, I did. Tomura, I signed a contract giving him control of everything."

Shigaraki waved his hand dismissively. "Toga tore up that paper the moment she left the room. I saw the pieces before I came here."

"She? Hold on. Toga.... That was Toga? With the papers. That wasn't Chrono?"

"Overhaul's guy? He's probably asleep somewhere. For all legal purposes, whatever you signed never existed. Now stop crying, get up, and let's go."

"That means... Toga stabbed Katsuki?"

"Probably. I don't know. She does do that sometimes."

After a loud boom, everything above us started to shake.

"That's it, we're leaving. Get up."

"Wait," I said, wiping my face. "No. No.... Katsuki. Have you seen Katsuki? Here's here somewhere, too. Bakugo. I have to get him, too. Have you seen him?"

"Sorry, I came for you, not one of your boyfriends. Maybe your other friends will get him."

"My other friends?"

"A lot has happened since you went night-night apparently. I'll fill you in later. We need to go."

"I can't leave without him."

"Yeah, but I can, and you're not really in a position to argue."

This was all insanity, but here was Tomura, standing in front of me, holding out his gloved hand for me to take.

Just as I took it, my legs wobbly beneath me, we heard another loud boom and everything seemed to rattle around us. The walls seemed to move on their own, knocking him onto the ground and me on top of him.

"What was that?"

"I don't know but...this isn't terrible," he grinned up at me.

"There's no time for that!" I said, smacking his chest with the little strength I could muster. "Especially if there's an earthquake or something."

"Oh, now you want to rush out of here," he said beneath me. "I see how it is."

Standing us both up, Tomura hooked an arm around my waist to keep me upright.

Exiting the room, the hallway looked familiar. I knew we needed to leave, but we had one stop to make first. I tried to pull away to go down the hall, but I was still too weak and my legs collapsed under me.

"Whoa there," Tomura said as he caught me. "No side quests today. If you're trying to find your hero buddies—"

"No. That door," I pointed down the hall. "Pick me up or something. We need to go in that door."

"The lab?"

"How'd you know it was the lab?"

Tomura jingled a set of keys in his hand. "Courtesy of Toga. I wasn't going to leave without your property, just like I had to get mine."
