Becca had completely forgot about the time difference so called him when she, her husband and Charley were out for the day. Bucky didn't want to take the call while everyone was sat at the table together, but once again your father had insisted that he took the call.

"Daddy bwot me a twoy tur- tukee!" His nephew yelled excitingly into the phone, holding up a stuffed turkey toy far too close to the phone camera.

"Hold it back a bit, pal. I can't see it you got it too close." Bucky chuckled.

"Can you see it now, Uncle Buwy?" Charley asked, showing off his turkey toy excitedly.

"I sure can. Your a very lucky boy, your turkey is very cool."

You smiled lovingly as you watched him interact with his nephew. A good looking man who was good with children just hit different.

"Put your mom on the phone for me, will you, pal?"

"Okay!"

Charley passed the phone to his mom and Becca came to the phone eventually.

"Happy thanksgiving, Bec." Bucky smiled.

"How's it going, big bro?"

"Really good, actually." Bucky replied, looking over at you with a loving smile on his face. You were standing laughing with your dad in the kitchen, and Bucky couldn't be more in love with you.

"Sure looks like it." Becca teased, snapping Bucky back to reality, causing him to blush slightly. "No honestly, I'm happy for you."

The rest of the day was spent by your family going on a walk along the river. Bucky being the gentleman that he is offered to push your moms wheelchair the entire time, which your mom didn't complain about since you were 99% sure she had a bigger crush on your own boyfriend than you did.

As much as you begged them, your parents said no to a picnic next to the river because that would 'ruin thanksgiving dinner.' So instead your mom carried some chocolate bars in her bag and everyone ate them while looking across the river.

You sat on the grass hand in hand with Bucky and watched as your dad helped your mom out of her wheelchair and led her over to the riverbank to get a better view of the water.

Bucky played with strands of your hair as you lay back on the grass staring up at the sky, even though it was November it was a huge change in temperature compared to NYC, so it didn't bother you that much, while Bucky admired your parents, eternally grateful for this family that he had been accepted into.

"She's not asleep, is she?" Your mom called over, noticing you were spread out on the grass.

"No, Pamela, I don't think so." Bucky laughed, "Just taking advantage of the break from waking."

"She really is her mother's daughter." Dave laughed.

"She's sure somethin'" Bucky said to himself, looking down at you with nothing but adoration.

"A good something?" You asked, your eyes still closed in the direction of the sky.

Bucky hasn't even realised he had spoken loud enough for you to hear.

"A very good somethin'"

When everyone returned home your parents enthusiastically served the thanksgiving meal. Like always your dad had cooked the turkey perfectly.

Everyone went around saying what they were grateful for, you said the life you had been blessed with, your parents and your job, and now Bucky. Your parents both said each other and their daughter, and now their daughters boyfriend who they had grown to care for in such a short amount of time. And Buckys answer made your tear up a little.
