"Crazy?" Tilting her head, Maleah slowly nodded because that wasn't exactly what she was looking for.

"I mean yeah but, he says shit and does shit that he means. I wouldn't take an officer serious, if I didn't know he was that then I would believe he was some crazy drug dealer or something just because of the energy he possesses. Any other dude, I would find corny and lame, but I believe everything he says." Maleah explained, causing Luca to laugh lightly just as Chris came back into the living room with his gun in one hand and a stack of papers in the other.

"Ask him." Luca nodded his head in Chris' direction, causing Maleah to widen her eyes with a look that screamed she wanted to strangle him.

"Ask me what?" Chris mumbled, never taking his eyes off of the gun he was loading. The stack of papers he once held being dropped onto the middle table lazily.

Sighing, Maleah ran her hand over the flat part of her low bun with her legs crossing. "Um, I don't even- why do you act the way you do?" She spit out, mentally cursing at herself due to how stupid the wording was. "I mean, I'm not saying-."

"She said she would've thought you was a drug dealer if she ain't know you was a cop." Glancing up in Luca's direction, Chris shot his eyes over towards Maleah before bursting out laughing. Luca doing the same while Maleah sat in pure confusion, not knowing where she missed the joke.

"Ummm..." She trailed off, placing her hand on her baby bump that seemed to grow daily. Nibbling on her bottom lip, she chose to just sit back and keep quiet, since clearly this turned into an A B conversation that she wasn't included in anymore.

"Fix your face, moody ass. I was a drug dealer-."

"You what?!" She quickly sat up, looking at him in pure shock and confusion. Straight facing her, Chris sucked his teeth because he hated getting cut off.

"If you would let me fucking finish...I was a drug dealer, did that shit for years before they sent me to some detention thing for troubled teens over in Virginia. Had me complete some bullshit ass programs before my pops forced me to be a cop cause he was too, said if I ain't do that they was gon let the system take me in cause that's what was being threatened. Obviously I ain't want to leave my people so I agreed to it, you think I want to be doing this bullshit?" He chuckled, double checking to make sure the clip was full before placing it down.

"So not only are you mentally unstable, but now I'm sure you have street damage or whatever the hell those niggas call it?" Maleah huffed out, even more added onto everything him.

"Street damage? The fuck is that." He mumbled the last part, taking a seat on the couch directly across from her.

"Like everything from that stage of your life boils over into your mental space at some point. You're already so mean-."

"I'm mean?! You the most disrespectful, stuck up asshole I ever met in my life." Widening her eyes, Maleah gasped while Luca threw his head back to blow out a breath. He was only over there to help Chris plan out what he was doing about Stasia and the chief, not to listen to him and Maleah subtly flirt with each other.

"You treat me like shit, but I'm the asshole out of the two of us?"

"I treat you like shit?" He raised an eyebrow out of amusement, his eyes falling to look down at her stomach. "You would think someone treating you like shit wouldn't have the opportunity to knock your ass up."

"And you haven't got to hit since-."

"You in here cappin cause you got an audience, I ain't hit since that damn accident...and that's been by choice." He leaned back into the couch with a small smirk spread along his lips.
