(Intro plays)
Scrooge's mother, Downy, runs to Scrooge and lifts him up, hugging and kissing him.
"Son." Scrooge's dad, Fergus, says.
Downy let's Scrooge go, and he falls over. "Ooh! Look at the wee bairns, finally get to meet ye'!" Downy attempts to hug the triplets Huey and Dewey both dodge in time, leaving Louie as the one being chased.
"Nope, I'm fine. Thank you, though!" Louie says hiding behind Ella.
"Ooh, and you and Athena, had a child together! I always thought you two would make the cutest couple. I loved when she'd come around with delicious cooking, and wide smiles and-" Downy squeals upon seeing Ella, but Ella noticed a look in her eyes that shown she knew more than she was letting on.
"I'm/ she's not my/ his daughter." Ella and Scrooge says tiredly. They were getting this a lot from people who knew Scrooge and Athena both.
As Ella and Louie evades her, Downy turns back to the rest of the group.
"Welcome, all of you, to Castle McDuck!" Downy greets.
Huey and Ella help Scrooge up off the ground, "Your parents are alive?!" Huey asks surprised.
"You guys must be the tuck everlasting family or something." Ella teases.
Louie walks over to the three, "I can't believe you're still alive." Louie said tucking his hands into his hoodie pockets.
"He put a curse on us." Fergus says in dismay.
"That is not fair! I very kindly rebuilt our ancestral castle for them, and I may have used some discount mystical druid stones that accidently granted them immortality. I didn't know it would buy me as eternity's worth of criticism." Scrooge defends himself.
"So, he admits he wants to be rid of us." Fergus says bitterly.
"Gah! Would you rather I'd let you pass or made you immortal?" Scrooge snaps at him.
"Neither is satisfactory. A thoughtful son would know that." Fergus says coldly turning away from Scrooge.
Scrooge growls, "Two peas in a pod." Ella mutters eating some kettle corn.
"So, this is the actual home of Clan McDuck?" Dewey asks surprised, as he stares up at the castle.
"Indeed, child. Within these walls lies the secrets, and the mystery of all your ancestors." Downy says proudly smiling up at her castle.
Ella and Dewey look at Webby who had begun to have creepy excited smile on her face.
"Webby, there's gotta be something about mine and Ella's mom here." Dewey whispers.
"Everything McDuck, mysteries, secrets untold. Oooh Weee!" Webby squeals in awe.
Ella chuckles, "I think she may be broken." Ella teases playfully nudging Huey who shakes his head amused.
Dewey pokes Webby, Webby laughs, "Uh oh, she's having a joy overload." He tells Ella who giggles at Webby's sparkly eyes.
Back at the entrance of Castle McDuck, Fergus and Scrooge are having a stare down. Both of them growl as Downy walks and looks at Fergus. Cut to Fergus as he growls angrily. Downy looks to scrooge, who is also growling angrily.
Downy smiles.
The scene dissolves to a shot in the dining room of Castle McDuck. Fergus and Scrooge are still having a stare down and growling angrily at each other.
Downy walks over to Scrooge, "Oh, we didn't know what to send your birthday gifts these years with you, gallivanting about."
Scrooge flips the check one by one, each one is for .05 pounds/ euros/ cents?
"If you don't want it, I'll take it." Ella said playfully from beside Scrooge.
"Yeah, thanks Mummy. But I'm not just travelling, I'm a seasoned adventurer, seeking fortune and-" Scrooge tries to explain to Downy.
Louie pops up beside the table from behind Scrooge's chair.
"Sorry. Hi. Louie Duck, future owner of this castle. This Templar treasure, like can I have it now, or do I have to wait to inherit or-" Louie interrupts.
Ella face palms while Scrooge sighs and smiles weakly.
"Oh, so, Scrooge mentioned Simon's treasure but didn't mention his dear old parents." Fergus says from the other end of the table.
"Technically, he didn't mention either you or this Simon fellow. We all just kind of assumed you were dead." Ella said popping up next to Fergus.
"Simon?" Dewey asks.
Scrooge looks to the kids, "Simon McDuck was the accountant to legendary Knights Templar. He hid their treasure somewhere in this castle." Scrooge explained to them.
Fergus slams his arm on the table, "Typical Scrooge, only coming around looking for a handout. At least when he brought Athena, she was kind enough to care." Fergus says coldly.
Scrooge laugh weakly, and gestures for Ella to follow as he ushers the ducklings away from the table.
"Only the laird of the castle knows where the treasure is, and the laird won't tell me unless I'm worthy." Scrooge whispers to the ducklings the minute Ella is close enough.
Ella looks at Fergus who was listening in on the conversation with an ear horn, upon seeing Ella staring at him amused, he puts it away with a huff.
"So, we have to be on best behavior. Quit mentioning the treasure and act like we want to be here." Scrooge whispers to them.
Webby and Ella squeal in excitement.
** The Hallways of Castle McDuck which are covered in portraits.
"So, uhh, this place has info on all of our relatives?" Dewey asks Downy.
"Oh, aye. There's Fergus' father, 'Dirty Dingus McDuck." Downy says and they stop in front of a portrait of a duck with a pickaxe in a mine. Huey, Ella and Louie giggle at the name.
Downy continues to reveal more portraits as she continues to show them off, "The Ghosts of Clan McDuck look large here.
Downy continues guiding them down the hall and stops at a bow, "This belonged to Murdock McDuck, first to patent the longbow." A portrait of Murdock hangs above the bow.
"Murdock made a fortune selling his bows to English Army. Of course, he charged extra for the arrows." Downy chuckles.
Downy gestures to another painting, "Sir Swamphole McDuck was obsessed with hording treasure." Downy explains.
"Sound familiar?" Fergus mocks Scrooge earning a glare from his son.
"Who names these people?" Ella mutters shaking her head.
"So, he built a mysterious series of tunnels under the castle to keep the family fortune. Some say he summoned a demon dog to stalk the catacombs." Downy explains.
Webby and Ella squeal in delight at the thought of secret tunnels with a demon dog. Downy mistakes this as fear, "Oh, they're just stories... Maybe... Probably." She looks around and crosses the hallway.
Scrooge and Fergus follow her.
"Oh, and look here, little Scroogie and Whiskers!" Downy gushes at a portrait.
