Chapter 3

I chortled silently before making my way out only to find my way barred by the same three sidekicks and the arrogant prick himself. I rolled my eyes at them, "What, jerks?"

The prick eyed me disdainfully, "My father would like to talk to you. Follow me after school while I am still being nice."

"No can do," I sneered at him. This guy seriously needed to learn how to ask politely. Fate clearly fucked up in our case.  Call me anti-social but I wasn't here to make any friends or talk to any pack's Alpha. I rolled my eyes, "Now get out of my way before I do some serious damage to your face."

I walked between them. They took defensive stances but I could see respect in their eyes. Only few female wolves weren't intimidated by dominant males.  I stared at them coldly, "Are you going to challenge me again, assholes?"

This time I used my Alpha tones and they bowed their heads in submission. The prick looked bewildered, "Why are you a rogue if you carry the Alpha power."

"First of all, that is none of your business. And lastly, stop talking to me. God, can't a girl have her privacy?" I slanted my eyes at him before striding outside. He made a wrong move then.

He grabbed my hand and he looked ticked off as he yanked me against him, his eyes black. "You will respect me."

I could feel his wolf rise and it was intimidating. I felt sense of deja vu which I shook off. 

I snorted, "The hell I will!" The tension between us was palpable. He was standing too closer and I couldn't say if I liked it. 

He bent down slightly as he had more inches than me, his breath fanning my face "The fates chose us. You will come and talk to my father."

I smiled, an evil leer. "You know what, you asshole?" I slammed my fist against his nose. "Go to hell."

 Jason's POV

Who the hell did she think she was? My wolf roared in anger. I was very close to losing control in a building full of humans. God! Her punch had been one knocker which had me dizzy for a while before the anger made way.

How dare she humiliate me before Niall, my future beta, and Mark and Thane, my other pack members who also happened to be my best friends.

"Dude, you need to get out of here," Niall said in a low voice. I had no choice. I was shaking very hard. I ran towards the wood, shifting in the mid process.

Calm down man, said Thane through the pack link.

I know this would piss you off but that Alpha female is one feisty thing. I've never seen a female so strong, added Mark.

She's gonna be a hard catch. Even if she's your mate, she's not gonna go easy on you dude, chortled Niall.

I am going to have to tame her a bit, I said evilly. In my mind I imagined doing things to her to tame her. It may be a bit perverted but no girl denied me. Especially not my mate.

They caught up with me and we ran through the trees, running uphill. The guys raved on about their mates. My father, the Alpha interrupted our fucked up musings. Where are you Jason?

I am with Niall, Mark and Thane. Why? Is something wrong?

Three rogues trespassed into our territory today. I want you to check them out. I told you to bring the girl after school. Zack's pack is coming over for negotiations against the rogues and the hunters. I heard they were at war with The Midnight Pack. I want you on your best behaviour. His voice went all stern.
