"You could have told us!" He said punching my arm

"Yeah yeah what did you miss me?" I said as a grin implanted his features

"Of course I did mi único" (my one and only) he said taking my hand and planting a kiss on it

I had memory of our kiss

The kiss we shared

I pushed that away from my mind focusing on what I was doing now

"You know, hermosa we have never had a date as a 'couple'" he smiled with quotation fingers

"Are you asking me out on a fake date?" I assumed

"Yes your dense" he said dead palming

"Denied try again later, if you ever ask out your future girl like that I will kill you" I chuckled

The thought of him being with someone else made my insides knot and not in a nice way

"Yeah..." he answered

Silence clouded us and we stood there with his warm hand still holding mine

My heart pounded

"Y/n.. I have to tell you something" he said looking up at me on the higher step

"Yes?" I said coming down so we were level headed

"I.. I don't wanna be with another girl" he said timidly letting go and playing with his hands nervously

"Hm?" I hummed calmly to say I was listening but my heart was absolutely betraying me beating like I had run 4 marathons and have 48 hearts

"I wanna be with you" he said as my breathing hitched

"With..me?" I repeated

"Um you don't have to answer I just wanted you to know that and you can think about that or you can just not," he murmured as his hand movements got faster and faster

I touched his hands as they paused

"Camilo Madrigal, I would gladly be your girlfriend"  I said as his eyes lit up at the answer

"Your eyes, there beautiful" I said admiring his glistening brown pools above his tinted freckles and pink lips

He brung his face toward me slowly as my lips parted

Then a bang could be heard

Me and Camilo looked up and saw Isabella look down

Just as we were about to kiss?!! We have the worst timing

I was thankful for when she turned around continuing with making new plants

"Yeah I think we should see what is going on" I said pushing his face away

His face dropped

"Your telling me I have been WAITING to kiss you ALLLLLLLLLL this time and now I can't" he complained 'crying' dramatically

I then quickly kissed his nose as I felt his face get warmer

"Y-yeah let's d-do that a-again" he stuttered as I waved to him

I climbed them to the third floor I hadn't went up here yet

I heard the noises on the roof and looked out one of the windows

Isabella and Mirabel had just jumped down

I turned to see what they were doing to see the candle

"Woah" I said looking at the decorated candle

It always blazes?

It looked pretty worn by now

The light was flickering

I then felt a rumble and a crack

The roof started to break

I rushed to the window where the candle was before the roof caved in

One of my arms was trapped underneath and so was both of my legs

I let out a shout of pain and I heard the Casita crumble more my wings were also caught underneath

This hurt like a bitch

I heard the Casita fall more as some of the furniture tried to help me get up as well as the tiles on the floor

I heard people scream Mirabels name and I sat there helpless basically

I readied myself to blast energy

"I am here!" I shouted as it kinda died down

I felt red liquid in my mouth as I spit it out

I felt my energy drain

I guess I wasn't a never ending energy store

I laid there helpless

I was pretty useless in this situation

I just waited

Waited until the ground beneath me broke then I'd be able to fly if my wings weren't damaged

I heard Mirabel reach the top and saw her hand just on the top of the ledge trying to get the candle

She didn't know I was here

"Y/N Y/N IS IN THERE CASITA LET ME IN PLEASE" I heard Camilo scream as I heard the tiles push him further

I lifted my free arm and pushed the candle to her hand

"Y/N!" Mirabel screamed as the casita broke

The tower fell on the part where she was standing

Then the floor gave in

I tried to lift my wings but I was stuck

My a piece of brick was stuck on it

I hung there with my body still in the remaining floor and my wing stuck

I was turned the other way I couldn't see anyone but I heard them

"Y/N!" Mirabel shouted as she too fell her hand reached to grab me but she missed

I then fell, fast and hard

I hit the ground as the rest of the building came raining down on me

I saw 3 doors come a shield me

Some rubbed cut my cheek as I coughed up more blood

I laid there as the doors fell

I curled up as the sun became to much

It gave me energy though

I stood up and-tried- to walked to where everyone else was but I failed

I stumbled and fell but got back up I felt better almost like my insides were falling back into place

However my legs and arm felt awful

Then Camilo saw me though his frantic looking

"Y/N!" He shouted as he ran into me

A surge of energy ran through me as he hugged me

I felt tears his harsh breathing on my neck

"I thought you'd be dead" he said in between panicked breaths
