I struggled and struggled until we both fell on the ground. Even then, he didn't quit tickling me until my voice was hoarse from laughing. I'd even shed a few tears.

When he'd eventually had enough, he rolled off me and laid beside me.

"You crazy crazy being!", I breathed, still trying to catch my breath.

"Would you like me to continue?", I snapped my head to the side and gave him a 'that's not even funny'. He snickered and looked away.

"So is it true what you said? Do you really think I'm think I'm hot?".

I groaned.

"I can't believe you're still thinking about that".

"Well, of course I am. It's not every day a hot girl calls me hot", He winked.

Without giving me time to reply, he stood from the floor and stretched his hand towards me. I accepted it and he pulled me up.

"Are you ready to go now?".

"No. Not yet. I need to use the bathroom first".

"Lemme guess, the tickling~", He started but I stopped him before he could go any further and just nodded instead. He chuckled and grabbed my backpack for me.

"I'll see you in the car then".

I made my way to the bathroom and did my business in one of the stall. When I stepped out to wash my hand after flushing, I saw someone that stopped me right in my tracks.

There, on the bathroom mirror, written in letters with something I took to be red lipstick were the words.
"STAY AWAY FROM SON CHAEYOUNG! HE'S MINE!!".

My jaw hanging open as I stared at the writing on the mirror. What the?.

Who could be behind something like this? Who would do something like this? I had so many questions and no answers.

Time passed and I still stared at the writing, my mind buzzing with thoughts of who could have done this.

A sudden knock on the door of the bathroom startled me.

"Mina, are you doing okay in there?", I heard Chaeyoung ask from outside the door.

I let out a sigh of relief, my hand still on my chest.

"Yeah. I'm fine. I'll be out in a second", I grabbed a bunch of paper towels and used them to wipe the mirror before anyone else got to see it.

Once I was done, I dumped the used paper towels in the bin and stepped out to meet Chaeyoung.

"What took you so long in there?", Chaeyoung asked once I was out.

"Oh, it's nothing", I waved it off.

"Are you sure?", He eyed me suspiciously.

"Of course I'm sure. Now let's get going", I grabbed his hand and pulled him along, unable to shake the terrible feeling that someone was watching me.

________

"Mina!", A finger snapped in my face.

"What?", I jerked back to reality to see a concerned Chaeyoung looking at me.

"What's up with you, Mina? You've been acting totally weird since you went to the bathroom".

"Weird? how?".

"Well for one, you were quiet the whole ride home and even up until now. You also keep zoning off. What's up and don't say nothing because I know it's something", He warned, concern.

I glanced up at him and could see that he was being really sincere. I wondered if I should just go ahead and tell him about the writing on the mirror.

But what if it just turned a silly prank from someone who thought it would be fun to mess with me?. Then again, what if it wasn't? It was all so confusing.

"Mina, I'm waiting", Chaeyoung pushed. I stared at him long and hard before eventually deciding to tell him about it.

"Okay, so after I left you and went to the bathroom, I came out to wash my hand only to find something written on the mirror. It was a warning to stay away from you", I said in one breath.

"Wait really? And you're just telling me this now? Mina~", He frowned.

"I know, I know and I'm sorry. I don't even know why I decided to keep it a secret from you in the first place".

"Me too", He remarked pointedly.

"I already said I was sorry but that's the last thing on my mind right now. What I really want to know is who is behind the writing on the mirror", I sighed as I fell back in bed.

"I wish I could say but it could be anyone. I've hooked up with so many girls, it's hard to say which one of them would try to do something like this", He climbed in bed next to me.

"Great! Now I have to deal with a revenge ex when we're not even dating. Isn't life just fun?", I commented sarcastically.

"Look Mina, I get that you're scared but you don't have to be scared, okay? You have me and I'll make sure nothing happens to you. I've got you", He nudged my shoulder to comfort me.

"Really?".

"Really. What are frenemies for afterall?".

I smiled at him, leaned in and gave him a light peck on his nose.

"What was that for?", He asked, a smug grin plastered on his face as I backed away from him.

"I kissed your nose, Chaeyoung. Don't read too much into it", I rolled my eyes at him.

"Okay okay. Just saying. Only a matter of time before you're kissing something a little lower than the nose", He said smugly.

I groaned.

"Now I regret doing it. That beside, shouldn't we get back to tutoring you? You know, since mid terms are only a few weeks away".

"You're totally right. I can't believe I forgot all about that!", Chaeyoung palmed himself in the face.

"Well lucky for you, you have me! I'll just grab my books and we can begin".

"Sure".
