"Well well, looks like Chan hyung was able to get his early morning duties done." He mockingly raised his eyebrows at the annoyed face Yena was making.

She knew that he was talking about her miraculously being up early.

"Your face is as annoying as his early morning concerts, Felix."

Yena rolled her eyes while chewing on a piece of bread.

As Felix was about to snatch a slice of bread, ready to again annoy his best friend, Chan was coming down the stairs all ready to head out.

"Well ain't she a jolly doll mate." Chan said with his Australian accent and did a fist bump with Felix.

"Aye mate. Would ya just look at those creases on her forehead." Felix put his fingers on Yena's creasing forehead.

Chan and Felix laughed while Yena just puffed her cheeks in annoyance but also chuckled lightly along with the two Aussie boys.

"Aish whatever, let's just go to school already." Yena stood up and pulled Felix's arm.

"It's a good thing seonsaengnim caught you watching Tiktok during class yesterday so I can have some company in classroom cleaning." She teased the tall fellow earning a flick on the shoulder.

She flicked him back but was only able to reach the sides of his shoulders since she was too short.

"Ouch." Felix sarcastically said while dramatically holding his left shoulder.

She just rolled her eyes at him and linked their arms again, while saying goodbye to her mother.

"You guys go ahead. Someone didn't wash the dishes used after making her breakfast."

Chan coldly said and glared at Yena. She just did a finger heart and ran towards the door, dragging Felix away.

"I see that you have yet again received some PR packages."

Felix teased his tiny best friend as he was checking out the small notes, letters and variety of snacks left on Yena's desk.

Yena just shook her head while wiping the chalkboard, not sparing a glance at the talkative creature behind her.

"You can have it all if you're so jealous of getting food."

She knew what she was saying was not true since her low voiced best friend was even more popular than her.

"No need." Felix teased while taking out the snacks in his bag that were packed in different kinds of cute bags.

Already expecting his cocky response, now facing the proud boy holding up his own 'PR packages', Yena just threw the chalkboard eraser at Felix's head with some dust spreading.

Felix was just about to throw it back to Yena while aiming like a sniper, when she just stuck her tongue out and hurriedly ran to the door.

"I'm gonna throw these out and put back this mop." Yena laughed while holding the garbage bag in one hand and the mop on the other.

She passed by a couple of students warmly greeting her a good morning and she greeted them back with a smile.

As always, whispers and eyes following her here and there and not anything new to her anymore.

"It's Bang Yena~" Some male students dreamily said while waving at her.

"Aww where's Felix? I haven't seen her brother yet as well." A female student stated while giggling.

Yena just sighed and fastened her pace to throw away the garbage to get away from the other students 'whispering' about her yet again.

Bang Yena would be what you call as the princess in their year. Always being admired and known excelling in academics, extra curricular activities, along with her bright and kind personality.

Well, all those sound great right? It is flattering to be admired and loved by a lot but she always knew that most of those students only admired what she has first been known for and not how great she is at school or even as a person.

Being best friends with Felix and always seen hanging out with their fellow popular friends, to be seen at times going to school with her older brother who is a popular senior, and to being friends with Chan's fellow popular classmates as well.

It seemed everything around Yena was 'perfect'.

And to her? Yes it is. She was happy, grateful, and content with having great people close to her making her life at school fun and exciting.

But it wouldn't hurt to be admired instead for who she is instead right?

Because of this, she doesn't have that much real friends. She interacts a lot with her classmates and from other sections but not as close as she is with Felix.

Besides Felix, her brother, and their respective group of friends, she didn't really feel like getting too close to other students, especially the girls that only want to be close to her because she was popular and of course, to get to close to Felix, Chan and the others.

Occasionally having the students intimidated by her even when some of those other students sincerely want to be friends with her, Yena still felt a little left out at times.

Trying to shake off those thoughts in her head, she proceeded at the sink near the outdoor court to put the mop back to it's place.

She was about to turn around to go back to her classroom when her eyes shifted at the cherry blossom trees nearby while the petals were dancing along the soft wind.

She smiled while admiring the view and reached out to a cherry blossom petal.

When she was able to grab one, she saw a familiar figure sitting under the tree.

He was facing her direction while what seem to be him shoving his things back to his bag.

He paused for a minute and their eyes met for a split second.

"Hyunjin-ah!" She cheerfully greeted the blonde guy and waved at him.

He just had a normal straight face and gave a nod followed by a short wave before walking away with hands in his pocket.

Yena didn't mind and was used to him being like that at times.

She wasn't really close with him out of all their friends but they still hanged out together along with the others.

As she walked back to her classroom, she didn't know that the same pair of eyes she met earlier were just following her as she cheerfully greeted others along the hallway.

Hyunjin just laid his head on his desk and trying to get some shut eye before class starts.

The school bell rang and the students ran to their seats.
