Everest Goes Platinum Part 2

"Are you twins?" one asked.

"No" Jay answered, "But we sometimes speak in sync".

"Everest, you were the one that won the competition for Mason Thornesmith to perform at the Platinum Music Awards what happened?".

"He wanted me to change my look, create a fake persona and that isn't the person or artist I want to become" I stated, "He then threatened to not let me perform if I didn't do as he wanted, lets just say I'm not one to take things lying down".

"Are you both in a relationship?".

"That is their personal life and although ****** doesn't forbid their artist from being in a relationship they don't force them to give information they do not want to" Jason spoke.

"We will get back to you on a later date for that answer," Jade said.

"Now if you want to hear them sing please tune in to the Platinum Music Awards as they make their debut as Jewels" Jay and I stood, we had agreed on that name as our names were the colors of Dad's favorite emeralds and we remembered that Dad would always say we were his precious jewels, he had hugged us tightly when we told him our name.

The night of the Platinum Music Awards Jay and I stood backstage waiting on the cue to head on stage, with us was Dad, Andre, Robbie, Cat, and Beck. I had to distract Dad as he was glaring at Beck and the tension between them was making everyone uncomfortable, after a touch-up of our makeup it was time for us to perform, so the others went to their seats.

"Ladies and Gentlemen performing their debut song, please welcome Jewels" I gave Jay a small smile and squeezed her hand before we went on stage.
