It was now 1:00 in the afternoon and Dess had one more appointment which was a check-up she was beyond tired but a red Bull kept her going.

Hearing a knock on her office door she looked up from her last patient's papers as she was looking over them.

"Yes?" She shouted.

"Ms.Carter your 1:00 appointment is here." jayda spoke peaking her head in while the mother held her son behind her.

"Bring them in," Dess instructed, Jayda let the two in closing the door back.

"Hi I'm doctor Carter and I will be assisting you today." she turned around with a warm smile.

"Hi I'm shakema but you can call me kema." she held her hand out for Dess to shake with a smile also.

"Aww, and who might this little one be." Dess looked in awe at the little boy the woman was holding.

"This is my son Dayvon jr."

"Aww, he's so cute he has the same name as my boyfriend." Dess looked at her shocked at the similarities the two names had.

"Really?" I thought my baby daddy only had this name small world huh." kema chuckled taking a seat on the bed.

"Yeah, but what seems to be the problem ma'am" She took out her clipboard and pen from her desk.

"Well my son has been coughing and he's always hot like I would turn on the air and he is still somewhat hot ya know and I'm worried." she babbled before making a worried look.

Kema was irritated that she had to take her son to the doctor, she had a scheduled hair appointment today but her baby daddy was too busy to do so which annoyed her. The two had a bad relationship, especially the communication and not always agreeing with one another on things.

"Aww poor thing just has a fever that's all but I have some medicine that will help," she said before standing up from the chair walking towards the wooden cabinets she grabbed children's Motrin.

"So just give him this every night and he should start to feel better." she Handed her the bag of medicine in her hand.

"Thank you so much! I was worried I thought something serious was wrong with my baby." she looked down at her son leaving a kiss on his cheek as she rose from the bed.

"No problem! He's such a cutie omg," she spoke in awe at the little boy she started to think back on what she told Von she was ready to give him kids his first... well so she thought.

"Isn't he, but your gorgeous yourself girl I love the curls you have." she complimented.

"Aww thank you so much girl your beautiful too No doubt."

"Thank you girl we have to hang sometime." kema suggested adjusting dayvon jr on her hip.

"You know what that would be nice here's my number." Dess took her phone out Of her jacket unlocking it with her face going to her contact then handing it to her.

"Ok I got it I'll hit you up boo have a great day." she gave Dess back her phone, she waved approaching the door of Dess' office.

"Alright and You to drive safely," she shouted before closing the door Jayda rushed in with flowers and a card.

"Omg bitch look what your man got you." Jayda squealed in excitement at what Von had gotten dess.

"Aww he's so sweet." dess gushed at the gifts Von had gotten her.

"I'll leave you alone see you later girl your man loves you." jayda smiled widely before closing the door of the office.

Dess sat the flowers on the counter admiring the two different color rose she posted on her Instagram story.
