Trials And Tribulations

Start from the beginning

'Give Sirius a chance Y/N, he's really trying, he loves you.'

"I know" I replied

What neither of them knew was that I'd been having dinner with Sirius after Order meetings since I'd joined the organization, I WAS giving him a chance.

It was at this point we saw Albus Dumbledore walk into the Courtroom and while I was curious, I didn't say anything.

Eventually someone else walked into the Courtroom, a short, grey haired woman who looked absolutely terrified.

Once the trial was over Harry walked out into the hallway, pulling me into a bone crushing hug while Arthur looked at him expectantly.

"They cleared me of all charges" Harry said happily

"That's great but I can't breathe...." I whispered, I could barely talk

"Sorry!" He replied, letting go of me, giving me a look of guilt

"It's ok, you're excited, at least you get to go back to school this year."

Arthur went back to work, trusting me to safely bring Harry back to Grimmauld Place.

I stood there talking to Harry about someone on the Wizengamot that gave him some seriously bad vibes from what he was saying.

"Then she had the audacity to ask if I was suggesting that the Ministry sent the Dementors after Dudley and I." Harry continued on his little rant

It was at this point I saw Percy walk out of the Courtroom, giving Harry a dirty look while simultaneously looking slightly shocked to see me standing next to him.

He didn't say anything, he just kept walking....

Tonight would be interesting when I got home to say the least.

"What did she look like?" I asked, turning my attention back to Harry

"Oh, um, she had brown hair, a really big bow in her hair, she was dressed in all pink, and she kind of looked like a toad."

I couldn't help but let out a small snicker, I knew exactly who he was talking about and his discrimination was actually pretty accurate.

"Harry, that's not very nice. I'd hate to hear you describe me if that's how you describe complete strangers." I was trying my hardest to chastise him

"Young Sirius, but female." He replied

"Rude!"

"Come on, Sirius doesn't look that bad for having been in Azkaban for 12 years."

"You just said I look like a man!"

He was trying not to smile at that realization, and I tried my hardest to not start laughing along side him when he failed.

After bringing him back to Grimmauld Place I went back to work, finishing my day roughly on time before heading home where I was met by a very unimpressed Percy.

"Why do you have to get involved in things that have nothing to do with you?" He asked

"I'm going to assume you're referring to Harry's trial, to answer your question, I was asked to be there on behalf of someone who couldn't be." I replied

"Let me guess, Sirius?"

"Nope, the Giant Squid said he was busy and couldn't make it. Begged me to show up in his place, said Hogwarts wouldn't be the same without Harry." I replied sarcastically, taking off my shoes and hanging up my jacket.

"Your sarcasm isn't necessary."

"Neither was the dirty look you gave Harry, yet you still felt the need to do it."
