I blushed hard when I saw his manhood hanging down as he slowly approached us. He kept staring at me, his eyes wide. I could hear his heart pick up as he continued to stare. I blushed as I tried to look away from him while still covering Rin's eyes. Suddenly I felt something sniffing me. I looked back to find the naked man sniffing at me.

"Excuse me, what do you think your doing?" I hissed as I backed away a bit. "And why aren't you wearing any clothes?"

"So what? It's not like anyone is around here." He smirked.

"Wrong. My children are here, who don't need to see a naked man." I growled. He suddenly came up to me, standing up. "What do you want?"

"Since you're so pretty, I have to..." The man said before he slapped both of his hands over my face. When he removed his hands, there was mud upon my cheeks. "Make sure that you aren't whisked away by other hungry males."

"Huh?!" I growled. "What the hell are you talking about?" I then walked over with the children and looked down into a nearby river. There was indeed mud upon my cheeks. "Rin don't look behind you. I have to clean my face."

"Okay momma." She smiled as I bent down to the water. I scooped up some water in my hands and went to wash my face.

"If you dare wash it off, I'll claw your face up and I'll make sure you'll never be pretty again!" The man growled. I looked to the water finding him standing behind me with an angry expression upon his face.

"Just try it." I growled back, my anger spiking as well. My nails growing into claws. I turned around with my own angry face and he immediately flinched away. I saw his body slightly shake. I huffed before I washed off my face. I sighed with relief as I looked at my face in the water, fully cleaned.

Once I got to my feet, Shippo walked over with my weapons in hand and Rin came over with my bag on her back. I held her hand as we started to walk away from this crazy man.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going?" He asked.

"Away from your crazy ass." I huffed as we continued to walk away. I could feel him follow behind us.

"Where is your mate?" The man asked, looking around. "It's not safe for a female to be walking around out here."

"I am not weak." I hissed as I glared at him. "Besides, my mate and us were separated due to unforeseeable circumstances."

The man was quiet for a moment, making me wonder if he decided to leave us alone. I looked over my shoulder and found him still there. I sighed, mentally grumbling at my misfortune.

"Well, how about you all stay at my place in the village. I can protect you and your young and hunt for you until you find your mate." He offered. I stopped in my tracks, making Rin and Shippo look at me. I had no idea where I was, how to deal with this world, let alone their rules. If they were anything like the demon rules of court, then I am in a disadvantage. This also meant that this man had every right to court me since he saved me, but mostly he saved my children. I rubbed my face as I groaned. I glanced to my children, hearing their tummies softly rumbling.

I might end up taking his offer. I couldn't protect my children and hunt. I couldn't exactly just let them live off of only veggies and fruits. They needed protein as well. I clenched my jaw, closing my eyes and sighed. I turned my head towards the man.

"I'll accept those terms." I said to him. "My name is Kagome. This is my daughter Rin and my son Shippo. May I ask what your name is?"

"My name is Parker." He smiled, his tail wagging. "Let's go."
