"Yeah hopefully she'll talk about it. Because there is no way in hell Jackson is going to tell us anything." I rolled my eyes before Stiles directed me towards his Jeep.

"Don't worry. I'll bring you back to get it so you can have it for tonight." He smiled at me opening my door.

"Let's go figure out what the hell happened." I said as he started the jeep and we left the parking lot.

"Honey, Nyx and a Stiles are here to see you." Lydia's mom said opening her door.

"What the hell is a "Stiles?" I miss Nyx." She slurred.

"She took a little something to ease her nerves. You two can-you can go in." She said awkwardly.

"Thanks." I smiled at her softly.

"What are you doing here?" Lydia asked as she motioned me over.

"We were just making sure you were okay?" I told her.

"Why?"

"Because I was worried about you today. How are you feeling?" I asked now worried about what she took.

"I feel... fantastic."

"Oh. What--" Stiles started to say before he saw a bottle sitting on her nightstand so he grabbed it and looked at it, before showing it to me.

"I bet you can't say, uh, "I saw Susie sitin' in a shoe-shine shop" ten times fast." He grinned.

"I saw shuzy--." She slurred. "I shaw--." Her eyes looked unfocused as she repeated. "I saw..."

"What?" I asked sitting next to her on the bed

"Lydia, what did you see?" Stiles asked her as he stood next to me.

"Something..." she muttered.

"Something... like a mountain lion?" I glanced up at Stiles as we waited.

"A mountain lion..." she repeated slowly.

"Are you sure you saw a mountain lion, or are you just saying that because that's what the police told you?" Stiles looked at her.

"A mountain lion..." she repeated dazed.

Stiles picked up a stuffed animal and held it front of me so Lydia could see it. "What's this?"

"A mountain lion..." she repeated.

"Okay, you're so high right now." I grumbled going to stand up. "We're going to go."

"Mmm... stay..." she said looking up at Stiles.

"You want Nyx to stay," Stiles offered pushing me back towards Lydia.

"Please... stay. Please, Jackson..." she muttered sleepily looking at Stiles.

I stifled a laugh before her phone went off.

"You want me to get that?" He asked moving towards it after I shrugged. "It's a text. I don't know how to--.." he trails off after he sees something on the screen.

"Stiles what? What is it?" I nudged his shoulder.

He turned the screen towards me and played it. This giant thing bursts out of the video store window before you see its red eyes.

"The Alpha," I muttered before grabbing his arm and pulling him out of the room.

"What are we gonna do?" Stiles asked once we were out of the house.

"We're both going to try Scott, and then you're going to take me back and get my Jeep because we have parent teacher conferences in a few hours." I said as he opened the passenger door for me.
