Chapter One (in improvement rn due to my bad English two years ago)

Your thoughts were interrupted by a blond girl bumbling against you.

"Sorry, I'm in a hurry". She said and started to run. You looked down, ready to continue your thoughts.

A small item was laying on the floor. Curious of what it could be you picked it up.

The afternoon sun made it shine golden.

Realizing that this little thing belongs to the blond girl forced you to run after her.

The fresh wind destroyed your tied hair but also blew the negative energy away.

Your running was interrupted by a dull sound.

The last thing you could hear was a male voice laughing in the background.

You woke up in a strange looking room. You quickly checked the location.. but the only thing you could see was a chair.

Staying calm in such situations is important.. well why should you care about that?

First of all being kidnapped wasn't new for you. In the past some treasure horders tried their luck. They ended up being killed with a small poisoned knife you carried with you.

A great warrior.. you used to be one. Not killing for a while made you question your strength.. "damn it".

This situation is different. As a child your family would go crazy while looking for you.. now you turned to be a worthless human being... who lost everything. Not only the feeling of being loved but also the will to live.

The words your father said came to your mind. "Can you do us a favor and die"..

"Were I kidnapped to be killed because they wanted to get rid of me... was that all staged by the maid who gave me the paper... why couldn't they do it on purpose?"

You couldn't find an answer that would satisfy your logical brain. You already felt dizzy because of the hit from back then and all those thoughts going through your head made the pain even worse.

Slowly you realized that you were chained. "Shit.." you thought. "That's not the way my family gets the dirty work done..."

(Isn't it pathetic that you didn't notice that you were chained? Poor you so stressed, how sweet).

"I don't have anything to lose so I don't care if I die." You thought emotionless.

"Actually I know how to free me... but do I want to? Where should I go? Would lady Ninguang still like me? She never chose a position..." Your thoughts started to fight in your head making you drive crazy..

A scream filled the room.. silence..

"You know that's not polite to scream in a house that isn't yours.. right?" He laughed.

"This must be a stupid joke" you thought. "Who is this man and what does he want from you? A partner of your family? No.."

"Don't you want to welcome me? Are you mad that I chained you?" He asked playfully taking a seat on the chair.

He sighed "you know.. it's not polite to ignore my questions. I'm being nice toward you and you don't even make the look that you want to cooperate with me."
