Chapter 18

Ko-senpai seems to have realized something as he removed his glasses and made his normal back to normal.

"I guess it's fine." He smiled and pushed the menu towards me telling me to order something.

"You understood why she's here?" Mei-senpai asked curiously to which Ko-senpai nodded.

"Bronya will explain to you once she's done.....though I was expecting the need to use the chainsaw." Ko-senpai sighed.

Both Mei-senpai and me gave Ko-senpai weird looks which he shrugged it off.

After a long discussion, the boy got up waved his hand at Bronya happily and left. Ko-senpai got up from his seat and walked towards her, we followed. He sat where the boy was sitting some time ago. We took two seats and sat near her.

"Had fun, Bronya?" He asked gently.

"Nii-sama? Ah yes I did." She seemed unfazed as usual.

"Oi Bronya I didn't think you would get a date." I teased her but was met with a confused look from her.

"Date?" She asked.

"Weren't you on a date?" Mei-senpai asked her. While Ko-senpai was silently chuckling.

"Tell them what you were doing, Bronya." Bronya nodded.

"It was just offline meet up?!"

"Shh!" Mei-senpai silenced me and told me to pay attention that we were in a cafe and not at the dorms.

Bronya nodded. "Since Bronya was in this city, the members of Bronya's guild asked her to join an offline meet but unfortunately the other members couldn't join as they became busy at the last second."

"I told Nii-sama yesterday?" Ko-senpai only scratched his head while laughing awkwardly. "I guess I forgot I only realized when I heard the game talk between two."

"Nii-sama...." Bronya sighed.

"Kotaro...." Mei-senpai joined in her sigh.

"....." Wait Ko-senpai heard the conversation? Wasn't he sitting opposite of me? If I couldn't hear how could he?

"Don't want anything to eat, Kiana?" Ko-senpai asked.

"Of course!" Oh well doesn't matter anyway.

(Dorms)
"Staring at the list isn't going to increase the time for the annual examination you know." Ko-senpai scolded me.

"Bbuuuutt I really don't want to study!!"

"You have no choice, Kiana." He caught my collar and lifted me like a cat.

"I would rather train with you, Ko-senpai!" I tried to resist.

"After studying." Resistance failed. Taking me like a cat he took me to my room where Mei-senpai and Bronya were looking at the tower of books.

"Kotaro, are you ready?" He placed me in between the trio and blocked all escape routes with the books.

"Of course." He pushed his sleeves up and stared at me intently. I couldn't keep his eye contact for too long as I blushed a bit and looked at Bronya instead.

"I'm not letting you sleep until you can prove that you are capable of passing the exam." Ko-senpai I would love to hear the first part of the sentence but not in this situation. I shivered from his glare.

"Now, Kiana...." He took a maths book and gave it to me. "What is 1000-7?"

"Hah! That's simple. It's 300!" I replied confidently. But my answer only made them sigh while Ko-senpai had a sinister smile on his face as he walked towards me.
