Cale then walked towards the dining hall, ignoring all those scrutinizing gazes that was sent to him nor the negatives comments they say after he walk past them.

"I will now open the door"

"Sure"

"I hope you enjoy your breakfast"

"Thanks. Ron, make sure you eat a good meal too"

Cale walked past Ron and into the dining room. He could see his family sitting there. His father and the current head of the Henituse household, Deruth. Next to hin was Cale's stepmother, the Countess, as well as her son and daughter.

Cale release a sigh of relief as warmth envelop his heart. They're alive. Here in front of him. He's going to protect them. The gods gave him another chance so this time he'll do everything he can to protect them at all cost.

"You are late again, today"

"Take a seat"

"Yes father"

Cale pushed aside he's thoughts as he sat down towards the chair that was far from the rest of the family. He then felt something was odd and lifted his head up.

"Is there something you need to say, father?"

"...No, i do not"

Deruth was staring at Cale. The rest of the family was doing the same. Cale made eye contact with each of these family member. They all quickly turned away whenever he made eye contact and continued to eat.

Cale turned his head towards the table as well. He first started by cutting the sausages in half with a knife.

Cale started to smile without realizing it.

He heard something fall down and made eye contact with his younger bother Basen. He could see that Basen had dropped the fork in his hand.

"My apologies"

Basen calmly apologized. The servant in charge of the meal quickly came over to hand Basen a new fork and picked up the fork on the floor.

Cale didnt think much about it as he was still focused on the food in front of him. The smile on his face could jot disappear.

"...Ho?"

That was why he did not hear his brother Basen's shocked proclamation.

The breakfast went smoothly than what Cale had thought. He's father, as usual, asked if he needed something. Usually he would for money to spend to the bars everyday, but today is the day where Choi Han and him would met.

Meeting him this time and getting beat up would be a problem since he'll lose conciousness for days, because of that they will need to send Basen to the Birthday Celebration of the King instead of him where the Plaza Incident had happen.
