There was a long pause.

"Are you certain?"

Wes nodded, his eyes trailing over to Waverly. "I'm afraid that is not all."

Her figure stiffened.

"A man was with him.. the same man who's ribbon you found in the forest."

Waverly's heart skipped a beat.

She gasped, her eyes flashing blue as a surge of rage entered her beaten body.

Wyatt shook his head. "You're mistaken. He would never be seen with a werewolf unless it were dead."

"No." She muttered, locking eyes with him. "He has found me."

Before he could respond, the werewolf tore herself from his grip and rushed out of the infirmary.

"Waverly!" Wyatt shouted, calling after her. "You're still wounded."

She ignored his words.

This was a battle she needed to fight.. alone.

* * *

Waverly ran into the center of the forest, scanning the trees for any clues to where this foe could've gone.

Of course, he was long gone by now, but there had to have been some sort of evidence.

A footprint or-

Just then, something whipped past her head.

The werewolf spun around, her eyes landing on a sharp knife stuck in the tree behind her.

She leapt forward, tumbling into a row of prickly bushes.

Waverly flashed her eyes, trying to find the holder of this knife.

Suddenly, something darted through the trees in front of her.

Her eyes spotted something a few feet away. It looked large enough to be human.

The werewolf wasted no time and crawled out of her hiding place.

A faint growl escaped Waverly's lips as she got ready to attack the man.

Just as she was about to leap into action, a creature burst from the trees.

She was struck in the chest, knocking her off of her feet.

Two dark gray paws landed beside her head as she hit the ground and two at her thighs.

Waverly's eyes widened as her eyes landed on a large snout in her face.

"What the hell?" She said, kicking the creature off of her.

The beast rolled off, a long pink tongue flopping around as it climbed back onto its large furry feet.

It was a wolf.

A male wolf, clearly.

He stood there, slobbering like a puppy.

The beast was very large, larger than the average wolf you might see out here.

"Would you mind?" She sighed, brushing the dirt off of her jacket.

The wolf just sat there, admiring her.

He was very beautiful, no denying that. It had thick, shiny, dark grey fur, very muscular, two bright blue eyes and a stripe of brown running down its back.

Waverly stared at it for a second then turned to walk away.

The beast stood back up and followed.

She put her arm out, blocking its path. "I'm not here for you."
