"You okay?" She asked once she saw me staring into space. "Ye- Yea come on."
Once we managed to fit all the stuff into my BMW M8 we got on the road headed to Tennessee where we would meet everyone else at this cabin, Yas booked.
"Aww I can't wait to see all my babies together." Skai said smiling as I shook my head laughing. "You saying it like we don't see em that much."
"Cause we don't, Everyone doesn't link up like we used to nomore."
"Bae everybody got they own lives now, you see how Bleu and Ro's always on the road now, and you got Yas opening up more stores all across the country everybody chasing they paper like they should be." I said while driving.
"I know I just miss how tight we were, I mean we went from seeing each other almost everyday to only a few times a month now."
"We still tight, phone calls is just enough for right now, everybody working hard to provide for the lil one's." I said and her face softened and she looked away.
"Baby you — Yes i'm okay." She faintly smiled before I reached over rubbing her thigh. The car ride fell silent after that with her eventually falling asleep.
While I bumped Power Trip by J.Cole my phone rang and once I saw who it was I disconnected the Bluetooth and answered.

"Been a minute what's the word?"I asked checking to see if Skai was still sleeping. "My cousin down there said he ain't seen him at his trap down there in a couple of days, so my best bet is that he back in ATL you know imma look out for you."
"Damn i'm in Tennessee for the week but if you run down on em don't kill em that's my body."
"Heard you, Imma keep you posted, enjoy yo trip." Wes said before hanging up. I placed my phone back in the cupholder as I rubbed my face with my freehand.
I had the drop on Quay for a lil minute, but he relocated to Louisiana for good. That's a 7-hour drive. There was no way I could just slide down there and do it without Skai knowing.
Everyone been telling me to let it go, even Laila. But I ain't even doing it for them nomore, it's for me. He gotta die for what he did.
