I slammed the magic ball to the ground, sending it flying over the net and landing on the opposite side, securing another point for my team. The cheers of the Alfea fairies echoed through the courtyard, and I couldn't help but grin, giving Layla a high-five.

A match of Magic Volleyball.

Now, the score was tied. One more point, and it would determine the winner. I glanced over at the net, where Crystal stood, her gaze fixed on me. We shared a competitive stare. Siblings, I thought. Always trying to one-up each other, as if it were in our blood to prove who was the best.

"Girls, remember, when facing a strong opponent, a direct attack may not always work," Professor Palladium called out, his voice steady. "But a feint can win the game."

"Right!" Crystal nodded, her eyes lighting up. "Formation number three!"

Determination filled me, and we continued. Two girls from Crystal's team leapt, assuming one of them would strike the ball. Flora moved closer to the net, focused on the two, not realizing Crystal had already jumped from behind them, sending the ball crashing to the ground, gaining them yet another point.

"Game over," Professor Palladium announced. Crystal's team erupted in cheers, and I narrowed my eyes, noticing the way Crystal winked at Helia.

I moved quickly toward her before she could slip away. "Nice one, sis," I said, keeping my tone light, though I couldn't stop the hint of competition from creeping in.

"Thanks!" Crystal beamed, throwing her arms around me in a tight hug.

I nudged her playfully. "Not as good as me, though. I would've won if it were up to me."

Crystal rolled her eyes but smiled softly. "Yeah, yeah." Her gaze shifted to Helia, who was already looking back at her. "Helia!"

"Hey, Crystal," Helia greeted, smiling. I looked between them, confused.

Crystal wrapped her arms around him. "We beat the Winx!" she declared proudly. I noticed Flora, standing nearby, glaring at them with a hint of jealousy.

"Yeah..." Helia's voice faltered slightly as he looked at Flora, who turned and walked away quietly.

"Helia, do you know where Adan is?" I asked, trying to keep my tone casual.

"He's on his home planet," Helia said, his brow furrowing. "I thought he told you."

"He didn't..." I sighed, feeling disappointed. "I guess I'll just call him then."

Helia placed a hand on my shoulder, his expression turning to one of concern. "I'm sorry."

"No, it's fine," I said, forcing a smile, even if the disappointment still gnawed at me. I waved at both Crystal and Helia as they watched me, their concern written on their faces.
