Seven unknown guys who roam around in the dead of night, adorning white porcelain masks and long, dark cloaks.

Once you look them in the eye, you're fu*ked up.

So when you catch sight of one, you're meant to get the hell out of there, because once they catch you, there's no going back.

Lee Hye (Your POV)

"Cloaked men with masks? Is this halloween?" I snicker, refusing all the nonsense my friends spouted.

"Don't joke around! We need to be careful.." Lisa, one of my best friends nagged.

"Right, kai?" She asked the boy across me, who was busy tapping away on his phone. "Right."

I rolled my eyes and leaned back on my chair. "I don't give a sh#t."

The two, sitting infront of me exchange glances and sigh, ducking down to take a sip of their drinks. "You're crazy."

A crazed laugh bubbles me as I fling my head backwards. "Found out now?" I fear no one. "None of this scares me."

I gulp down my drink and glance at them with puppy eyes. Lisa shakes her head in disapproval, lips set into a thin line.

Through the wide glass of the cafe, less people could be seen in the streets as darkness begun to take over. The sky had become a dark blue, street lite begin to ignite.

"I'll get going then, it's almost dark." Lisa pops, her eyes flickering towards the window. I hum in response, taking out my phone off my pocket.

"Hye, let's go together." Kai suggests, glancing at me for the approval. "Sure."

I was about to slid my phone back in until a notification pops out.

"Kai you should get going, it's getting dark. I'll catchup with you on the way." I responded, waving at him.

Me:
Really? Do I look good?

I waited for the response. Who'll play such a sh#t prank like this?

After waiting for a few more minutes, I got bored and decided to head home. The door bell rungs as I leave. I pull up my hoodie and made my way towards the street where Kai would've probably followed.

Darkness clouded the vision, my eyes flicker around in search for Kai and Lisa. Looks like they went ahead..

My phone suddenly vibrates in my pocket and I slid it out swiftly.

I scoff, finger getting numb of the cold weather as I type.

Me:
Huh? Why would I?

I fasten my pace, breath forming smoky puff as I exhaled. The area was empty, silence almost defending.

Darkness had now taken over the light, the sun no longer visible.

But I like it. Dark and mysterious. It fascinated me.

I put my phone back in and continued walking, but it was a sudden high pitched scream which banished me.

I tilt my head, eyes searching the surroundings. That voice sounded familiar..

My eyes widened in epiphany, I sprint towards the direction the scream came from, fury engraved into my eyes.

If it was Lisa.. I'm about to whoop someone's butt.

My eyes gleam in ferrel anger. My legs seemed to work by themselves as I planned out a death trap for whoever assaulted my friend.

I pause when I reach a crossed alleyway, hands gripping the wall as I caught my breath.

And then I saw her.

She stood in the middle of the passageway, lips stretched into a crazed smile.

"What the hell?" I cringe as she cups her face and begins to laugh like a maniac. "Don't tell me you're on crack!?"

Her laugh echoes around the whole alleyway and that's when I spot a few figures concealed within the shadows.

One of them steps out.

He is dressed in a black cloak which covers his figure completely and a white mask which seemed to have a stained tear falling from an eye.

"..I did tell you to run, but did you listen?"
