"Hayley wake up, Rebekah's waiting for you downstairs"

"What," I jumped out of bed as soon as I saw the reflection of my clock on the window, It was 8:30!! Who the hell does my dad think he is, I told him to wake me up at 7 so that I had time to do my make up and everything. But now I only had ten minutes. "Rebekah could you please help me" I yelled worried she didn't hear me

She obviously did hear me since she was up within a second curling my hair and passing me my make up whilst placing my clothes next to me .Everyone needs a friend like Rebekah in their life.
I love her. She will always, forever be my best friend no matter what happens.

"Bye dad" I called back

"So why did you wake up so late"

"I'm sorry Rebekah! I swear yesterday night I set an alarm on my phone for 7 and I told my dad to get me up at 7 too!"

"Well I mean you have given us an excuse to be late and I can't be mad about that" she smirked

Me and Rebekah had a known history of skipping classes and sometimes even whole days, we also had a known history of getting us out of trouble by making up the most believable, perfect excuse. On our way to school we stopped at Starbucks to get coffee so we could think more clearer and wake up. "I'm thinking the same one as last time"

"Well it can't be exactly the same, then they'll start to get suspicious"

"Ok, so since my dad is kind of sick we could say that we were taking care of my dad since he said he passed out, then again what if they call him and ask him about it"

"Don't be silly Rebekah mikael loves you and would do anything for you, he'll probably cover for you"

"Now that I think about it he's backed us up before"

"Really when?"

"Do you remember that one time when we skipped a whole day and got caught in the schools toilets"

"OH YEHH"

"Ah the good old days" We arrived at school only to see klaus and Marcel at the gate blocking us from entering. "We were wondering where you were" we rolled our eyes "Jesus Christ its not like we're late by 3 hours it's only been 10 minutes since school started" 

"Yeh we'll you still could've at least called us" Marcel mumbled. Marcel always gave these long speeches whenever we were late even if we were 5 minutes late.

Klaus chuckled "Leave the girls b they were probably too busy fussing about boys and doing their makeup." I shot klaus a look when he said that. If looks could kill, he'd be dead.

He seems to have this mental picture that every single girl in the world only talk about boys and makeup. "Am I wrong?"

"Yes you indeed are wrong you dick"

"What makes you think we just talk about boys Niklaus? Last time I recall me nor Hayley weren't aloud a boyfriend."

"Wich by the way klaus you do not get to choose if I don't have a boyfriend or not, in fact I have a date tomorrow"

Klaus looked mad. Like his whole body was filled with anger. He almost looked...jealous?

As usual me ,klaus , rebekah and Marcel decided to ditch school for the day to hang out. Like today it mainly Ends with Marcel and Rebekah leaving me and klaus alone to do whatever they do. Usually it was kind of awkward with klaus and me but today something was different I could tell. "Why hello love, would you like to go to the club with me"

"I don't know klaus I mean isn't it a bit early for that?"

"It's 7pm Hayley don't be such a party pooper" If I hate anything it's being called a party pooper "Ok let's go big guy" 

"Is that my new nickname , because if it is I think i'm going to have to go back to your old nickname, princess geek"

"Shut up klaus"

"Okay, sweetheart" I don't like admitting this but whenever he calls me sweetheart or love I always feel butterflies in my stomach, I can't help but blush. "So how's you and Caroline going?"

"Hayley me and Caroline broke up 2 years ago, she's dating Stefan now, are you ok?"

"Yes I just couldn't think of anything to talk about." You know when they say silence talks more than words, well today i found out that was true.I could tell there was something off about him he was different. He looked like he was in love all over again. But with who was my question. "you know what i think im just gonna head home sorry klaus maybe another night?"

"Oh ok, sleep well then" He says in a slight sad tone
"Hey do you think maybe we could go out on friday then?"

i couldn't believe it. Klaus mikaelson asking me out? or was i just overthinking it. Maybe he meant it as just friends hanging out? definitely just friends hanging out. considering our history i don't think i could even call us friends. I remember when that bitch slammed my birthday cake into my face. Ever since then i don't think we've ever been somewhat nice to each other, but lately he's been nicer to me. I have no clue why. Rebekah said it was because of puberty or something but i don't think it is. "hayley?" SHIT. "Sure, see you later"

"Good night love"
