"Ok so maybe I am in love with Ace. But it doesn't even matter because the vibe I've been getting from him lately tells me he does not feel the same way at all."

"Ari, do you realize who the hell you are? Maybe he's just feeling overwhelmed or nervous. I mean not too many guys would feel fee to just walk up to you like that."

I hummed walking around him towards the door.

Maybe just maybe, he had a point. It's just hard to see Ace as she overwhelmed type of guy, he's never been shy. He goes for any woman that he wants, so what's so different about me? Is it because I'm famous? Or simply because he has no interest in me.

As I walked down the long hall with people from my team and down back up dancers behind me. I had 3 minutes till my set.

"Ms. Grande, your drink."

I looked around to see my assistant jogging towards me with my sparkling water in his hands. I smiled and thanked him, taking it from his hands.

Sipping through the straw I waved at people as I walked by, making my way to the stage.

"Ariana!" I heard making me stop.

"Oh uh- Greyson, hi."

He nodded and smiled. "Hey, I just wanted to wish you good luck out there."

I smiled up at him and touched his arm. "Aww well thank you, I appreciate that."

Standing here looking at him, all I could wonder was where Ace had ran off too. I knew he wasn't too far.

"Uh, Ace is back over there." He chuckled lightly rubbing the back of his neck. "I could just tell you were wondering that."

I tried not to look so shocked or relieved that I didn't have to ask him. God, was I really that obvious, but instead I just laughed it off and waved at him before walking to find Ace.

I only had about a minute left so I needed to make it quick. When I found him, all I could see was the back of his head. I walked up to him and tapped him on the hip.

"Ace-"

He turned around and I saw that he was standing in front of Dove.

What the actual fuck?

"Ariana what's up, aren't you supposed to be heading to the stage right now?"

My smile immediately turned into a frown. "Oh-um yes, I just wanted to say that you did great out there."

Ace smiled and nodded. "Thank you Ari, I know it'll be nothing compared to you though."

I stared up at him sorta mesmerized by his beautiful smile.

"Ok, Ace I think I'm ready to go back to the bus now."

My eyes followed the voice and it was of course Dove. She stood there with her arms crossed and a frown on her face.

I cleared my throat and gave him a small smile. "You're obviously busy, and I need to get my ass on stage. So I'll talk to you later?" I asked as I slowly backed away.

Ace nodded and gave me a thumbs up. "Sure thing Ms. Grande."

"Ace, come on I'm tired." Dove said as she pulled onto his arm. "I said I'm ready to go, and you're playing around."

I heard Ace deep chuckle. "Who's playing?"

Wow. I can not believe she's actually here. Guess they really are getting serious. There goes any chance I had.
