Someone Like You (Lloyd x Reader)

Chapter 5 - Dragons

"I promise I won't be gone for long." Kai replies as he and the other ninja, other than Cole for obvious reasons, jump onto the dragon while I'm still seated in the front. "I'll keep a candle lit outside our shop until you return."

"You guys go on ahead, there's not enough room for all of us on that... thing." Cole points out which is true.

"Your right Cole, but I have a way to fix that.." Kai responds mischievously.

*Time skip*

"Easy, not so fast." Cole says nervously to his earth dragon while hanging onto the long pole attached to the saddle. Our dragons then all fly up then straight back down again, one after the other with Kai's dragon being first, and Zane's at the back.

"Woah, this is awesome!" Jay exclaims underneath his mask.

"Yes, this is quite fun." Zane adds on.

"Hey! Your voice has returned Jay!" I yell out to the blue ninja while my silver grey and white wind dragon does a quick loop while I squeal in excitement. "Woo hoo!" Kai cries out.

"So how do the dragons crossover to the underworld?" Cole questions Kai as he seems to be the only one who knows something about these dragons. "I think we're about to find out!" Kai yells over the top of the air flowing straight into our ears as if it were water. The dragons then begin to do a duck dive in the air and start plummeting towards the ground.

Kai's dragon is the first to start doing what looks to be their own version of spinjitzu except spinning themselves in the air just before hitting the ground. Mine is the next to start spinning, then Zane's, then Cole's, then Jay's. And because we didn't realise they were going to spin, we all begin yelling and screaming like little kids. I mean, I have an exception though because I'm still one!

"Is it over?" Cole questions while hugging himself tightly in fear as we seem to have entered into a cave full of huge purple crystals. "Hardly. I hope these dragons know what they're doing!" Kai jinx's as the dragons begin speeding up as they make their way through the tunnels.

"They're speeding up, hold on!" Kai yells as the rest of us barely hear him. Suddenly, before we know it we've entered through a portal, vortex thing and have arrived in the underworld. This time though, we do end up crashing into the ground along with the dragons.

"Solid ground, we made it!" Cole states as his voice echos through the cave. We all look around and find a bunch of random land platform thingys, and quite a large temple building on one of the larger land platform thingys. "Sensei's inside." Zane states for us as we have no clue where he could be by now.

Looking up to the roof, ceiling, whatever it's called in the underworld, I find stalactites hanging down. "Look up there. We can climb across those to get over to the building where Sensei's in." I point to the stalactites. "Good eye pip squeak." Kai compliments. "Thanks."

As we cross the stalactites, we stop for a minute for some reason as we're just above the land platform where most of the skeletons seem to be. I then hear Jay making noises as if he were trying to talk. "How the hell did you loose you voice again?" I whisper shout to Jay who just shrugs his shoulders and points towards the ceiling. Realising that rather than being on the stalactites, we're now on huge spider legs!

My arachnophobia, phobia of spiders, especially big ones, starts kicking in and I forget to tell the others that got distracted, what Jay was trying to say. The others eventually realise and we all drop to the floor, landing on our stomachs.

"Uh, if there is more than one ninja, is it ninja's or just ninja?" One of the main looking skeletons, asks the other main skeleton who is wearing a metal bucket hat. "I think it's just ninja." The skeleton wearing the metal bucket hat replies.

"Oh ok. Then, ninja!" He yells getting all the skeletons attention and us 5 ninja.

The skeletons begin to crowd around us as we all huddle into a circle with our back facing each other's. And because I'm the youngest, Cole and Kai feel a need to keep me safe and put an arm in front of me as a sign of protection as well as taking out their weapons. It's difficult to reach my bow as there are two arms trying to keep me safe but I eventually manage to grab it.

"I count 10 bone heads to every one of us. I think I like these odds." Cole jokes. Then the spiders also come down from the ceiling and my skin pricks up making me shiver.

"Uh oh, anyone got any bright ideas?" Kai asks as our ninja huddle gets smaller and tighter. "Get on our dragons and get the hell out of here?!" I yell in fear as my phobia rises and my determination decreases.

"Anyone other than Y/n?" But no one has anything so we all stay silent. I'm gonna call it, we're doomed.
