Brie and Stiles shared a look. What the hell is happening?
It wasn't long before the police arrived. Brie was sitting with Allison but once her father came she didn't feel like intruding their conversation.
She saw Stiles across from her, sitting alone with a small cut on his forehead. It was bleeding.
She walked over to him, much to his surprise, and placed a hand over the cut. It healed.
He felt his forehead when she took her hand away. "You can heal people?"
"So far only very small injuries, not much bigger then the one you had," she answered, sitting beside him. "I wouldn't be able to heal a stab wound or anything. Yet."
"Well, thank you," he said with a small smile. "I definitely think we should talk-"
Just then, they saw Stiles dad walk over to Mr. Argent. "Mr. Argent, you wouldn't have any insight into this, would you?"
"Me?" Mr. Argent replied, looking a little shocked.
"Yeah. All this bizarre animal behaviour, it's... You must've seen something like this before, right?"
"I'm not sure why I would or why you would think I would," he responded, sharing a look with Allison.
"I'm sorry," Sheriff Stilinski said. "I could've sworn I overheard my son talking about how you were an experienced hunter."
Stiles looked down awkwardly after hearing that.
"Ah, right," Mr. Argent said. "Well, not anymore."
The sheriff nodded but didn't seem convinced. He turned to Allison to ask her if she was alright and then went to question the teacher.
"We should call Scott," Brie suggested to Stiles. He took out his phone and called the werewolf.
After a minute conversation over the phone with Scott he finally turned back to Brie.
"He wants us to meet him in Derek's house," he told her.
"What? What the hell is he doing in Derek's house?" Brie asked.
"No idea," he said. "He didn't leave much room for questioning."
~~~
"She was your mother's sister?" Stiles asked as they drove to Derek's house.
"Yeah," Brie replied. "Apparently she promised my mother she would train me before my father could get his hands on me or whatever."
"So, your father is very dangerous?"
"From what I've heard, yes. But I've never actually met him."
"And let's hope you never will then," Stiles said. A few moments of silence passed before he spoke again. "I missed you, you know. We all did."
"I missed you guys too," Brie replied. "I don't want things to be weird between us anymore."
"I don't either," Stiles said.
"So we agree?" Brie said. "No more weirdness. Back to being best friends."
Stiles didn't know if he could do that. He certainly didn't want to do that. But if it made her happy, he'd agree.
"Agreed."
They got to Derek's house and found out that Scott was getting a tattoo from Derek and Issac was apparently super injured by an alpha but Derek wouldn't tell us who it was.
