Tom: This has definitely been the best date I've ever been on in a long time.
Lita: Yeah this has been the best first date ever. <I said blushing bright red as a tomato>
Tom: Lita, can I tell you something? <he asked a little nervous>
Lita: Of course you can tell me anything.
Tom: <takes a deep breath> Lita, ever since I saw you at the concert and we talked backstage, I instantly felt a connection that I have not felt in a long time and I hope what I am about to say will not make things weird between us <I gave him a nod to continue> I love you Lita and not like a sisterly love like I LOVE you and I...
Lita: <cuts him off by pressing her lips to his and pull away for air> Tom I love you too and I have been since the concert and what I just did to calm you was my first kiss. <I wink and he held my hand>
Tom: So I guess we are official then?
Lita: Yes we are official. <he gives me a quick kiss>
Tom: Turn around, hold your hair up, and close your eyes.

I did as I was told then felt something cold hit my neck area and a pair of lips on my neck. I opened my eyes and saw a golden necklace with a guitar charm and on the back of the guitar were out initials 'L.H. + T.K.'. We decided to pack up and head home but we ended up in front of a house that was definitely not mine so I decided to ask out of curiosity. Turns out that he rented a house whenever he is stays/visits me in Lima. The night was coming to an end with clothes flying all over the place and Tom and I in bed in each other's arms the next morning.
End Flashback

Me and Tom have been together for 8 months; Tom has been on tour for his new album 'Long Cold Winter' and I got to know his band mates better and their girlfriends/wives (Lori (Eric's wife), Marissa (Jeff's girlfriend), and Donna (Fred's girlfriend)). As for me this school year has had its dramatic moments in the history of high school. We (the New Directions) are practicing for Nationals next month and Tom is doing a concert in Cleveland this weekend but unknown to me that a big surprise was coming my way.

I am dressed in a black bodysuit, ballroom skirt, and ballroom shoes as my practice gear.

Mr. Schue: Alright 'Edge of Glory' was a good run still needs a little polishing but, let's go over 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light'.
Everyone: Yes sir.

As we were about to start practicing our third song, the stage lights turned off and on as a familiar tune of a piano hits my ears. I turn around and there is Tom with a guitar behind his back and he starts to sing my favorite song from the 'Long Cold Winter' album.

As he starts to sing I see my best friends/his band mates coming out from the wings of the stage and give me a hug and a single gardenia from Fred, Eric, and Jeff while the New Directions and my brothers were confused as to what was happening. At one point in the song, Tom came up to me, held my right hand, placed it where his heart is, and played his guitar with all his heart and soul.

At the end of the song; Fred, Eric, and Jeff stopped playing and watched the surprise unfold as Tom gave his guitar to Eric, came up to me, held my hands, and said what I have always wanted to hear.

Tom: Lita, you are the most talented, funny, smart, and an amazing woman and I would not be where I am now without you by my side and I want that to be forever so, Lita Hudson; will you marry me? <he got down on one knee and opened a ring box only to reveal a diamond engagement ring>
Lita: <I am in tears and cupped my hands to my mouth and finally revealed my answer> Yes, yes I will marry you!

With that said; Tom slipped the ring on my left ring finger, picked me up, and kissed me with so much passion. That was until my brother, Finn, ruined the moment.

Finn: Woah, woah, Lita do you realize what you just did and besides you are still in High School, who are all these people, and when the hell did you meet them!?
Lita: First of all why the hell are you pissed off at me when YOU also proposed to Rachel, second I just got engaged to the love of my life and a real rockstar, and three it's non of your damn business as to when I met them and my Fiancé!
Finn: Wait until I tell mom and Burt about this they are so grounding you for life.
Lita: Go ahead and do that I don't care and besides I won't be here when they find out <I said as I took off my shoes, slipped off my skirt, put on my leather pants, booties, and leather jacket> see you all in Chicago if I feel like performing.

I gave them a wicked smirk, waved bye, got on the bus with the others to Cleveland, and celebrate our engagement with some drinks.

After that day, I never went back to Lima and moved to Philadelphia with the band, I never went to College, and I became a backup singer for the band. Within 6 months from that day, we got married in a small ceremony with the band and the girls; Jeff walked me down the aisle, and from then on our life has been a whirlwind. When I turned 21, I finally got pregnant and 9-10 months from then we were blessed with twins a boy and a girl.

We faced many challenges together including Tom's vocal paralysis, which made the band take a hiatus, but I will leave you with a quote from 'Criminal Minds' "I've always heard every ending is also a beginning. We just don't know it at the time. I'd like to believe that's true".
