Chapter 34

"You will." Andrea replied as she exited her room, "Ingat."

"Ingat din."

Andrea pockets her phone, "Dad, let's go?"

Francine rolled up their car window as she was done scanning her ID and when the guards were finished inspecting their vehicle, they immediately went to the parking lot.

"Miss, ako na po magdadala ng diorama niyo." The driver unfastened his seat belt, "Saan po ba room niyo?"

"Kuya, kaya ko na po." Francine reassured as she unlocks herself, "Magpapasama naman din po ako kay Blythe."

"Ma'am, papagalitan po ako."

"Hindi po, I promise." Francine exits the car and she carefully grabs her diorama, "Ingat po sa pag-uwi!"

When their car drives off, Francine walks towards the nearest bench to wait for her girlfriend. She unconsciously taps her bottom lip.

It's been a week since the kiss happened and she still gets butterflies as soon as it passes her mind. That was one of the best gifts she has ever received in her eighteen years of living.

A light pat on her shoulder startles her, interrupting her thoughts filled with Andrea. She turns around only to be poked in the cheek.

"Gotcha!" Christine laughs, she settles down between her and the diorama, "Girlfriend duties?"

"Hindi naman," Francine answered, "Nasanay lang sa pagiging target."

Christine nods, "Speaking of that, kailangan may mapili na si B."

"Na?"

"New target para i-train maging Queen B." Christine takes off her team's varsity jacket, "Alam mo bang nag emergency meeting kami on the first day of school last year?"

"Dahil ba sa'kin?" Francine pointed to herself and the swimmer nodded, "Bakit?"

"As far as we know, according sa handbook, pipiliin mo lang classmate mo as a target if lilipat ka ng school." Christine explained, "Same section man kayo or hindi."

"Anong ​reason ba't ako pinili ni Blythe?"

Christine shrugs, "Hindi niya sinabi sa'min yung reason aside sa fact na familiar ka raw." She said nonchalantly, not letting her friend talk, "Teka—'di mo siya tinanong about sa whole fuss na 'to?"

"H-Hindi ... "

Christine stands up, "Sana makatulog ka mamayang gabi if 'di mo maitanong lahat kay Blythe." She lightly pats the latter's head, "Una na muna ako Chinny, may meeting pa kami."

Francine smiles, "Sige, see you later."

"Bye!"

Francine thought of what Christine just said as she watched the latter runaway, she and Andrea never got to talk about their target days. Will her girlfriend even tell her everything if she asked? Should she form a plan right now?

"Earth to Carrel~"

Francine beams up upon hearing that voice, "Good morning!" She stands up to give her a quick hug, "Sa'n si tito?"

"Umalis​ na si dad, he even laughed at you kasi parang kulang ka daw sa tulog." Andrea laced their hands, "Good morning bub~"

Francine chuckles, "Miss me?" She asked jokingly but the latter nodded, "Sabi ko kasi sa'yo pumunta ka sa café nung Saturday pero anong ginawa mo?"

"Nanood ng anime ..." Andrea pouts, "Wait, tulungan na kita."

Francine prevents her girlfriend from getting the diorama since she's not confident about it, "Kaya ko na po."
