The others sat around the VIP lounge as the party continued.
Everyone was drinking and having fun.
Well...
Almost everyone.
When Mikey and Kakucho returned from a short meeting, you had already left.
The others understood that you were tired but Mikey couldn't stop thinking about you.
He wondered if you were okay.
Or if you needed to talk to someone.
He just wished that he had caught you before you left.
"ALRIGHT LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, GET YOUR CHAMPAGNE READY, THE COUNTDOWN IS GOING TO BEGIN SOON!!"
Sanzu- "About damn time!!!"
Rindou- "Shit.....No more drinking...."
Ran- "Just one more brother! You can do it!"
Kakucho- "I think you guys should stop."
Kokonoi- "Put the cups down and eat your grapes..."
Takeomi- "I swear, you guys don't have an off switch..."
The others get up and head towards the floor where the crowd is except for Mikey.
He stayed seating on the couch while staring at his drink.
He wasn't really the type to go out and party but he still came for the others.
He doesn't know why but something is bothering him.
He spent a while thinking until all of a sudden.
"TEN!"
"NINE!"
Sanzu- "Mikey come on! You're missing all the fun!!"
Mikey ignored Sanzu as he stared at his drink while being deep on thought.
Getting up soon to head out towards the back exit, leaving the party just like you did.
"THREE!"
"TWO!!"
"ONE!"
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!"
