Chat Noir never gave you his location, Chat Noir...

You paused.

You...you could barely remember how he looked. In fact - his features were muddled. Blonde hair, green eyes, slim...you repeated in your mind, trying to remember.

Blonde...eyes...slim...

Hair...eyes...body...

Yet no matter how hard, or how fast...you couldn't. Neither Chat Noir or Ladybugs. Their faces were blurred, voices forgotten and actions wavering.

You felt your panic rising. Was it happening again, your memory loss? You didn't want to forget again, not Adrien, not your family and the heroes, not even Marinette.

You ran all the way to the front building, where the office and lobby was and where parents dropped off their children. It was crowded, of course. People were trying to find their friends, most were calling their parents to pick them up. All of them had gentle smiles and calm attitudes.

But they were used to it, you weren't.

It was only till you ran outside did you see him. He was walking away from the stairwell, phone to ear as he was looking for something, or hopefully someone.

You let out the deepest sigh from the depths of your throat. All burdens emptied. The rain seemed to follow your feelings, as it was now slightly pittering.

Adrien walked towards a tree, eyes furrowed as he called someone to pick him up. He hadn't seen you, and you doubt he would with his concentration. He was using his raincoat to cover his head, continuing to peer around the school.

It wasn't until his eyes trailed over to your area did he smile. He finally saw you.

He dialed out of his phone, placing it inside his pocket as he started walking towards you.

"You're ok Y/n!"

You smiled sadly, taking a deep breath.

"And so are you." You took out your umbrella, cute patterns of (favorite animal) layered over your head. "I was searching all over for you." You said, walking towards him.

He too walked towards you, hastily. "Hah same! I was sent to the-" Suddenly he slipped on a puddle. "Agh!"

His head knocked onto the floor, his back all wet now.

You dully laughed, easing into your steps as you crouched low and covered his head. He looked surprisingly cute as he opened his eyes. He had a small blush creeping to his neck and filling his cheeks. Though he shouldn't feel too embarrassed, as even in this position he looked handsome.

"That's the smallest injury you got today." You teased. He nimbly laughed, taking your hand as you pulled him up. It was surprisingly coarse.

He finally got up. "Yeah it is, isn't it." He laughed it off, though something was plain in his mind, as his face quickly morphed to a question.

Adrien took the umbrella from your hands, using his height to cover you properly. Side by side, the two of you walked to the edge of the street, where cars were stationed to pick their kids up.

"Say," He muttered. He twiddled his thumbs. "Were you able to get out?" He refused to look at you, instead keeping his eyes on the cars pulling in.

You tilted your head. "Oh, Chat Noir found us shortly after our separation." Your shoulders brushed each other. "I'm surprised he was able to see us, seeing as we were hidden pretty good. I'm guessing you told him after he saved you?"

At first he simply gazed forward, eyes scrunching up as if he forgot something. Then he widened his eyes suddenly. "Oh yeah! Heh- I'm glad he got you guys out safely." He peered at you. "What...what did you think of him?"

"Who, Chat Noir?"

You bent down, seeing a shiny penny. It glowed between your hands, so shiny it reflected you and Adrien.

"Mhm,"

You grabbed it, looking over to show him only to hesitate. That cut on his left cheek. You swore you remembered it being important, something you noted but now couldn't. You tried to grab at any faint memory, but they quickly fled before you could.

It was all too hard, and hurt your brain.

You shook the thought. "He- you know he reminded me of you." You suddenly said. That's the one thing you remembered, the similarity in personality. "The puns, how he talked. Similar vibes, so yeah hes cool."

He was pleased by the answer, if his red ears and smile were anything to go by. "So you really liked him?"

You scoffed. "Eh, I wouldn't go that far...hm, he did subvert my expectations."

'For better or worse...'you thought.

"Oh?"

"Yeah, I was expecting someone more...serious?"

"Maybe they want to have fun!"

You grinned in response. "Maybe,"

Very faintly you could see the shift of a black Limo car over the distance. It cut the rain and splashed the puddles onto unsuspecting pedestrians.

Adrien lowered the umbrella so you could grab onto it. "Looks like my rides here," You clasped your hand around the plastic, very faintly feeling his fingers leave. The car eased into the road. "I can give you a ride if you want?"

His eyes seemed to plead as he softly smiled, begging you to join him.

But you refused. "I think I'm gonna walk, I need to explore Paris a bit." You whispered. He looked quite disappointed, though passed through it with a nod.

"Just be careful...ok?" he said lightly. He opened the door, but hesitated to get in. "And Y/n," You dipped forward, eyebrow arching. "Thank you for saving me."

You could only nod in response, mouth open to say something but nothing came out.

It wasn't long till the rumble of the engines and cold steam emptied into the sky. Adrien had waved goodbye and you watched as the car pulled away.

Truthfully you wanted to join him and regretted your choice once you felt the rush of cold wind. Yet you allowed yourself the benefit of solitude, which was what you needed most of all. A bit more time to process everything.

You were quick to depart, stepping away to the sidewalk that would lead you home, but then felt something...squishy?

You looked down.

There laid a very small and intimate object. Black in color with flippers as hands.

"What in the-"

You bent down to retrieve it. It was surprisingly warm and felt real enough. For a moment you thought it could be a deformed kitten, or maybe a mouse, but looking closely it reassembled more of a stuffed hybrid animal you'd find at a garage sale

You looked around, standing up properly now as you had the plushy at hand. There was no one around to claim it as theirs, and nobody seemed to be looking for anything.

'Maybe its Adriens?' It was likely his, probably dropping it when he fell as it wasn't there before. The only problem was, he already left. Neither did you have his number or know his place of residence, and if you did you would call him back or walk to his home in order to give it back.

Alas, you were found with none.

You turned the plush. It was surprisingly pretty, with green eyes reminiscent of Adriens and pure black fur. It was definitely high quality, though you couldn't find a tag anywhere. You rubbed your thumb over its stomach, so soft. Not only did it look real, it felt real as well.

"Hm...it kinda stinks." You muttered. Maybe Adrien was a fan of cheese and ate it alongside the plush. It was kinda cute to think he carried a stuffed animal with him at all times, though you're sure he would be absolutely mortified to know you knew.

"I'll give you to him tomorrow. Hopefully he won't miss you too much, little guy." You chuckled.

You pocketed the little thing inside your raincoat, and made the first step home.
