Chapter six

They laughed looked at other pictures.

Luyolo:mom i hope you're not telling her my secrets there.
L.mother:you're too late.
Xiluva:you were a cute baby. I can't believe that's you crying. You were a crybaby neh?
Luyolo:mama i told you to get rid of that picture. Now she'll laugh at me every time she remembers.
L.mother:you see here...he loved eating a lot. He hasn't changed. See how he was eating that cake? He was greedy also.

They laughed again and he switched on the tv and increased the volume. She envied this. Being a happy child with both parents. Siblings that she could play with. A father who was always there. Even though her mother was always there she wondered how it would have felt like growing up with a father. Someone who'd carry her wherever he went. Someone she'd call dad. She wished she also had that. How would her life turned if her mother found her while her husband was alive? Would it have turned out better than what it was like now? Or it would be the opposite? All of these thoughts were running in her mother.

Clara:how was it?
Eve:she didn't even drink. But i told her to stay away from Desmond. I hope she got it and will play far away.
Clara:are you alright?
Eve:no. I've been feeling somehow since coming back.
Clara:what if you drank that poison? Look you're coughing blood.
Eve:no. I didn't poison her.
Clara:you were very serious about it. I know you wouldn't just back off.
Eve:take me to the hospital.
Clara:you'rereally crazy. Now i believe it. You're really crazy! If you die it's nobody's fault but yours!
Eve:where are you going!?
Clara:I'm going to start the car so i can take you to the hospital before you die. Who knew a man could drive someone so crazy to an extent of trying to kill themselves?
Eve:please help me stand. I'm even feeling weak.
Clara:after this I'm cutting ties with you. If you can do this to yourself then you can even kill me! Let's go.

She helped her get off the couch then put her arm on her. They walked out until they got to tge car. She put her in and went to her side then drove to the hospital. She was attended to when they got to the hospital. Clara waited at tge waiting area. She kept looking at the door of the room that she was taken into. She saw a nurse coming her way and she got up from the chair.

Clara:nurse how is tge patient that i brought?
Nurse:tge doctor is still busy with her. I'd advise you to leave and come back later. But if you don't mind waiting....
Clara:i will wait.

She waited until she was tired. She decided to leave and would come back later.

Luyolo:mom we are leaving.
L.mom:why don'tyou eat first?
Luyolo:we will eat where we are going.
L.mom:okay. Flower thank you fir cooking for us. And for spending time with me. It was nice getting to know you. Go well.
Xiluva:thank you ma. Have a good night.

Luyolo led her to her car and they left. Soon they arrived at his place. He went to his room and came back with sleepers.

Luyolo:put these on and let's go.

She put them on and followed behind him. They walked to the back of the house where the pool was at.

Xiluva:are we going to swim at night?
Luyolo:no. Let me close your eyes.

He blindfolded her and held her hand. When they were at the right spot he took the blindfold off.

Luyolo:surprise!
Xiluva:wow! It's so beautiful.
Luyolo:our first date.
Xiluva:thank you.

She looked at the bakkie that was paeked behind the house. The light making them to see everything that was put at the back. There was a fleece laid there then there was food and snacks on top. There was also some flowers scattered all over the fleece. And juice. She couldn't stop smiling at what was in front of her.

Xiluva:thank you babe! I love it.
Luyolo:i love you.
Xiluva:i love you more.

She put her arms around his waist and looked at him. He bent down and captured her lips into his. He cupped her face as he deepened the kiss. It was a passionate one. They could feel the love that was there. Is this what being loved and loving someone felt like? If it is then she wants it forever. What she feels inside when she looks at this man in front of her is amazing. She wants it for the rest of her life. To feel like this forever if not more.

Luyolo:let me help you up.

He helped her climb the bakkie then followed. He took flowers and gave her.

Luyolo:flowers for a beautiful Flower.

He took one from the flower and put it behind her ear.

Xiluva :thank you my love. Why here inside the car?
Luyolo:i love this car. So i thought i should share it with someone that i love. I loved riding in it with my grandfather. So when he passed on he left it for me. It's my favourite thing out of everything i got from him.
Xiluva:that's nice. I'm sure he was a good man.
Luyolo:he was. Let's eat.
Xiluva:this taste nice. So you miss him?
Luyolo:a lot. But i know he's always in my heart. Everyday. Everywhere i go.
Xiluva:I'm sure he's looking over you. And protecting you always.
Luyolo:yes he is. I will this night wouldn't wnd. Just be here with you and nothing and no one bothering us. Just sleep here and watch the stars.
Xiluva:we can sleep here and watch the stars after eating. How about that?
Luyolo:I'd love that.
