Sun's thoughts filled with Feather as the Angel and Dragon walked towards the meeting place. The other three would often wait in a meadow for the pair. Sun and Calamitous had a code word that would alert the other that they had a problem.
It was *I need to check my room.*
Calamitous was the only one that used the code, as Sun did not care to hide anything but kept quiet.
Going back to the annoying Griffin.
Wherever Feather's touch causes the territory to grow and his infleunce.
This causes the Creatures to favor Griffin over the Dragon.
It needs to stop.
Everything that Griffin did made his blood boil even more, but as long as the Angels exist. Sun could not do a thing.
Trees had not yet covered the land as they need more time to reach their height. Feather could only speed up the growth of a few trees. Thus, creating a giant meadow that stretches from the swamps to the icy mountains.
"Why do you side with that overgrown rat with wings?" Sun asked Calamitous as the pair walked further from the Royal cave.
The cave was meant to be a wedding gift for Sun and Breeze. Calamitous was the one making it as Snow did not have the skill to build things. However, the blue-winged Angel could give the Phoenix and the Dragon a blessing to allow them to have younglings.
The Dragon side-eyed Calamitous awaiting him to answer his question.
That was another thing that ticked him off.
Breeze would treat the two males completely differently, and for once it was not Feather that got in his. It was Calamitous. No, Breeze thought Feather was a brother. It was the red-winged rat that had challenged Sun.
Sun side-eyes the Angel once more as he shifted to a brown wolf. The Angel siblings often were seen in the forms of carnivores more than herbivores. The Dragon never knew the reason for the favoritism as all animals were pests and food to him.
But that is beside the point.
No, the reason why Sun hated Calamitous was something that ran deeper. The Dragon knew, and it angered him that the Angel held more power, but would rarely show it. What frustrated the young King was that the red rat had the heart of the Princess.
Whether the Angel knew it or not. Calamitous would never do anything about it.
That ticked him off even more, but Feather and Calamitous often had that effect on Sun.
"Feather is the only creature that ever had captured my dear little Star's heart. Why would I ruin it for her?" Calamitous asked, speaking in a gentle tone that he often used to address his sister.
The Angel would also use this tone to address Breeze, but not in the same way.
It was obvious that the red rat's weakness was his younger sister and it was clear that Calamitous would anything and everything for her. The red-winged Angel had even betrayed his tribe, after all, to locate her and be with her.
"What if I can make Snow a true Princess?" Sun offered, which caused the Angel to stop dead in his tracks.
The red Dragon kept going forward before stopping. He turned his body to face Calamitous. It appeared no matter what Sun did that he always got on Angel's bad side. However, he never tries not to do that.
Calamitous stared at the ground as pure rage radiated from him that was not there before. This was new and would be the last time that the Dragon underestimated the red-winged Angel who desired to protect his family.
