To go along with the outfit, I put on silver hoops in my ears and wore a a thin sterling silver necklace with a small sun shaped pendant hanging from the middle.
Soyeon insisted that I tie up my hair in a ponytail to give off a more neat look and I complied, tying up my long hair in a mid ponytail, trying my best to give it some voluminous look. I kept it simple for the makeup, despite Soyeon insisting on spicing up my eyes and finally put on some small three inched strapped block heels for my footwear which would go along with both a casual and a formal date.
"Should I take my wallet with me?" I asked Soyeon as I grabbed my phone. Seungcheol and I had agreed to meet in front of my dorm at seven.
Soyeon looked slightly conflicted and said, "Well. . .this may sound sexist but men usually pay on the first date. And. . .considering how loaded he is, he definitely should pay but don't take chances. Take your wallet just in case. You never know."
I nod and take out a small hobo bag from Stella McCartney I got as a birthday present on my seventeen birthday and put in my wallet and my phone as well as my lipstick, just incase I need for retouches.
"I think I'm all set to go," I say, presenting myself to Soyeon for a one last final look.
"I think you are all set to go too," Soyeon said, giving me a once over before squealing and saying, "I'm so excited for you!"
I can't help but smile as well and say, "Honestly, I'm a bit excited too. And nervous."
Soyeon smiled at me and said, "Don't be. I don't know him personally, but judging by the way he never ever dates anyone, he must actually really like you Jia. Otherwise he wouldn't even bother."
I give her a small tight lipped smile and say, "I hope so."
"Now go. He must be here already by now," Soyeon ushered me away.
I give her a tiny wave and leave my room with Soyeon following close behind to head back to her room as well. Making my way down the stairs slowly until I reach the first floor, I walk out of the main doors of my dorm.
I spot Seungcheol right away, standing underneath a tree located at the corner of the sidewalk. Seungcheol notices me too because he straightens up at the sight of me, removing his hands from the pocket of his pants. He was wearing black pants with a simple white top and a leather jacket draped on top. An expensive looking watch sat on his left wrist while it seemed that Seungcheol put in extra effort in styling his hair in particularly today.
Seungcheol just looked so handsome today.
Seungcheol looked up and down my figure, looking over the outfit I wore with his eyes lingering a little too long on my footwear. I was expecting some sort of comment or acknowledgment of my clothes but Seungcheol said nothing and instead said, "Are you ready?"
I nodded.
"Let's go then," Seungcheol said, nodding his head towards a direction.
Well, I suppose my attire passes the test then.
"Where are we going?" I ask after we've walked a couple of meters in silence, struggling to keep up in pace with him since Seungcheol started off earlier than me. The fact that I am wearing heels too definitely also added more to my inability to walk fast.
"My car," Seungcheol answered and sure enough, his car appeared in front of us, almost as if he summoned it.
"Sit," Seungcheol instructed me.
Well of course. What did he think I was going to do? Levitate?
Nevertheless, I sit down in the passenger seat as Seungcheol slides into the driver seat, putting on his seatbelt while I do the same. After he starts the engine and turns the gear into the driving mode, I ask once again, "Where are we exactly going?"
