"Hey, Demitri." Kali hugged him tightly, "How'd you sleep?"

"Nah, I slept good to be honest." He shrugged and moved past her, making her follow him closely.

"Are you guys hungry?" Kali played with her nails as she looked at both Leo and Demitrius.

"Yeah." Demitrius smiled.
"No." Leo muttered.

They looked at each other and Leo looked back at Kali. "I have to leave for school." He grabbed his book bag and put it on his shoulder. "First day, yay." He sarcastically said and then shook his head.

Demitrius grabbed his keys and looked back at Kali, "We can do lunch, I gotta take him, I'll see you later okay?" Demitrius kissed Kali's forehead and she smiled.

"Bye, Leo! Have a good day at school." Kali waved and Leo just gave her a nod and walked out of the house, slamming the door behind him.

Kali's face fell as she looked at her hands, her feelings slightly hurt. "Mm." She nodded slowly and walked deeper into the kitchen to start washing the dishes.

"Don't be too upset with him."

Kali jumped and looked to her right to see August right next to her, helping her with the dishes. "He's just sad and confused about everything, you did nothing wrong."

"I know but... I still feel bad. I feel like he hates me." Kali let out a humorless chuckle.

"Trust me, Leo loves you more than anything." August gave her a reassuring smile and bumped her shoulder playfully.

"Stop." She giggled, pushing him back.

"Make me." August snickered.

Kali poked August's nose, laughing hysterically at the bubbles that were now on his face. "Now you're actually cute. Oops." She cracked up while August clenched his jaw, trying not to laugh.

"Oh yeah?" He asked.

"Wait, August stoppp, I put bubbles on your face, that's a whole bag of flour." Kali warned, backing up slowly.

"Man you know what? You right." He nodded, making Kali sigh in relief. "Oops, you know a nigga be having muscle spasms." He snickered as he threw a handful of flour on to Kali.

"August!" She screeched and then they both reached for the egg carton.

"No." They both pointed at each other with one hand while the other was holding on to the egg carton.

"Let go on three, okay?" Kali asked, moving the carton over to the counter.

"One," They counted together. "Two..."

"Three!" They both grabbed the eggs out of the carton and started hurling them towards each other.

"Ow!" Kali hissed as an eggs cracked against his arms.

"Wait, Kali I'm sorry." August panicked, rushing over to her. "Here let me see mama, I didn't-" August frowned when Kali started to giggle. "What you gigglin' for?"

Kali suddenly reached over his head and cracked an egg, smushing the shell and the yolk into his curly hair. "I win."

August sighed and dropped his head slightly. "You might wanna start running."

"Huh? Why?" Kali snickered, back up from him slowly. "You can't get me." She sang teasingly, she turned to run but immediately stopped when she turned around and saw both Chris and Sincere standing in the entrance of the kitchen, looking around.

"He started it!"
"She started it!"

"No I didn't!" They yelled at each other. "Yes you did! Stop copy-"
